* AuthorsSavingThrow:
** Anakin's appearance in Season 2 corrects his frequently-mocked character design in the first and second waves.
** After this series faced some criticism for apparently pandering [[GirlShowGhetto exclusively to little girls]], the short "The Path Ahead" features [[ADayInTheLimelight Luke Skywalker as the main protagonist]] (and voiced by Mark Hamill again, no less), with no female characters present (since it takes place on Dagobah during ''Film/TheEmpireStrikesBack'', and it's just him, Yoda and Artoo present). This means that while the girls are still the primary stars of the show, the boys can still be heroes too.
** A more minor case, but Sabine's design in season 1 drew some criticism for making the AmbiguouslyBrown Sabine [[ButNotTooBlack even paler than]] Padmé. Further designs, especially her Rebels season 3 design, corrected this.
** There have been complaints about how Padmé never appears without Ahsoka, and doesn't get a chance to shine. "Monster Misunderstanding" finally breaks this trend, as it seemingly takes place in a time before she met Ahsoka.

Both chracters have far more popular ships.

* FanPreferredCouple: Though this is presumably the [[ShipsThatPassInTheNight only time]] they ever interacted, "Accidental Allies" has turned [[WesternAnimation/StarWarsRebels Sabine Wren]] and [[Film/RogueOne Jyn Erso]] into quite the popular ship, and as for why, well, [[LesYay see below...]]

** One wonders if one reason why the toyline wasn't successful was because four out of the six girl dolls were dark-haired Caucasian women, which probably wouldn't look very appealing to young girls compared to more varied and colorful doll lines like ''Barbie'' or ''DC Super Hero Girls''.

The rather drab-looking clothes compared to other toylines may have also been a factor.

Changed the wording because that obviously did not end up happening

* ItsShortSoItSucks: The shorts' length (about three minutes) doesn't give much time for things to happen. Then again, this is a Website/YouTube series.

** In a case of AdvertisedExtra, there have been complaints that Hera hasn't received enough advertising spotlight. Even Luke, Kylo Ren, and Chewbacca have gotten a doll before she has. Similarly, there's been complaints that it doesn't look good on Hera and Padmé when they only appear as side characters to the other female characters like [[EnsembleDarkhorse Sabine and Ahsoka]].
** The roster currently being limited to only the main female characters of the movies and the animated shows, also tying in with the demand for more main roles of non-human characters and people of color characters in ''Star Wars'' media. Though if Rose and Paige being added to the third batch of shorts as well as the tie-in comic series is any indication, the roster will continue to grow and opens up the possibility of adding more characters, especially if the show and merchandise becomes popular enough.
