* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The girls stop the bus to pee in the bushes and run into a crew of aliens who want tickets to their show but it's sold out. The girls are completely unfazed by this and even sign autographs for the aliens.

** The ActorAllusion references to Ginger's topless model days aren't quite as funny after her surgery to remove a benign tumour. Halliwell avidly supports breast cancer charities.

** "Never Give Up on the Good Times": Plays during the beginning of the boot camp scene with the Girls getting into the music slowly is effectively done too.

* UncertainAudience: WebVideo/TheNostalgiaChick comments on how she has no idea who it was being marketed towards, given that some of the jokes were clearly meant for adults (such as men in thongs and Victoria suggesting that Geri take her top off for a young boy in the hospital), but other jokes seemed more geared for kids, or at least would be unfunny to adults. Of course, you could make much the same point about the band themselves, so maybe the target audience was just "Spice Girls fans".

** ''Film/TomorrowNeverDies'', the James Bond film that came out that same year, also deals with an evil media mogul. ''Spice World'''s titles also kind of look like a parody of the typical James Bond opening titles.

** The scene where the girls imagine what they'd be like as mothers, now that all of the girls have their own children. Especially the case with Victoria Beckham, who says "Thank God for boarding school" in this scene, but by all accounts is a very hands-on mother to her four kids.

* ForcedMeme: While [[SarcasmMode their tongues are clearly in their cheeks]] when they say it, the people hipster-ironically referring to the film as a "cinematic masterpiece" can feel like they're trying too hard to those who don't find it "bad enough" to be SoBadItsGood, especially since a lot of the nostalgic appeal appears to be sincere and the movie itself is already not taking itself too seriously.

* SnarkBait: Given it's a campy and nonsensical movie about a girl group [[BrieferThanTheyThink that ended shortly afterwards]], the movie is certainly this for non-fans. As [[Usefulnotes/GoldenRaspberryAward Razzie]] founder John Wilson put it, "''Spice World'' wants desperately to be [[TotallyRadical hip]], self-deprecating, and devastatingly funny. It actually is devastatingly funny, but almost none of the laughs come where the filmmakers were seeking them."
