He said that he also found Miles Kane's "Rearrange" soon after, which is also very similar not only in chords but even in ''name''.

This has led to a good amount of criticism from people who are fans of Vinesauce but not fans of Red Vox, who claim that much of the hype surrounding the band is simply because Vinny's in it.

Since it was made purely as a one-off project, the idea of the band putting out a sequel to it became a common subject of jokes among fans and even Vinny himself, with the latter jokingly stating during a WebVideo/{{Vinesauce}} stream that a hypothetical sequel would be called ''Volcanal''.[[/labelnote]]

* MisattributedSong: "Scoot the Burbs" is often mistaken to be a Red Vox song. It's actually a song that Vinny improvised on the spot [[WebVideo/{{Vinesauce}} during a shovelware stream]], then recorded for his solo album ''Odds and Ends'', a collection of demos. Red Vox does sometimes perform it at shows though.
