* FunnyAneurysmMoment: With [[DarkestHour the late January/early February 2011 events in canon]], there are quite a few of these. Like, the very ''title''. Not to mention that ''I'M A PRICKLY PEAR'' seems to have been written literally ''just'' before shockingly appropriate canon events, as well as the much earlier written ''Bloodrage.'' And again in the May 2011 events concerning the pre-scratch trolls, where [[spoiler:Meenah blew them all up so they'd be able to survive outside of the Scratch]], which is almost the same as [[spoiler:Feferi killing all the trolls so they'd be able to survive in the same way]]. Keep in mind that this last was written seven months prior to the events in ''Homestuck'' canon. The author clearly has some sort of psychic powers.

* NightmareFuel: [[spoiler:''Embrace'']], [[spoiler:''Most Just''.]] Both chapters are {{Eversion}}-level horrifying. And then there's the horribly ''gruesome'' descriptions of some of [[spoiler:Feferi's victims]]. [[spoiler:Aradia]] was ''torn to pieces,'' for one, and [[spoiler:Karkat]] had all their [[NauseaFuel innards ripped out]]. And even worse? [[spoiler:Feferi]]'s ''very calm and composed'' words on the matter.

* CanonDefilement: ''Red Dead Virgo'' is a pretty good example of what not to do when making a bloodswap. Examples include: slapping sign-specific traits onto different trolls just because they share blood (ex. RDV Gamzee has Nepeta's cat traits, RDV Karkat has Vriska's vision eightfold), and doing the same with personality traits despite the canon characters not having such traits at all, leading to [=OOCness=] (ex. RDV Kanaya has Karkat's anger), not swapping the lusii despite them also being connected to signs (ex. mutant Kanaya has Crabdad instead of another lusii). There's also the fact that RDV Tavros isn't unstable despite canon dictating that highbloods are rather unstable and that doomed timelines and the way the Scratch works is nothing like how they work in canon.
