Cleaning up misuse examples. Adaptation Displacement is "adaptation is more popular than original work," not "people find this character more sympathetic in the adaptation". The first two examples of EDH describe a preferred portrayal of a character, rather than a side character being popular. Deleting aversion in Hollywood Homely.

* AdaptationDisplacement: A lot of people think of Mary more sympathetically thanks to her portrayal in this film - which removes most of her KnowNothingKnowItAll behaviour and gives her a very Woobiesh moment where she sobs into her father's arms that she practiced the piano all week to play at the ball only for it to sound terrible.

* EnsembleDarkhorse:
** Rosamund Pike is considered one of the best Janes - perfectly capturing her all-loving attitude, while also making her quite witty and interesting.
** Jena Malone is also a favorite as Lydia, considering she absolutely nails an English accent and makes her funny rather than annoying.
** Talulah Riley's more sympathetic take on Mary is surprisingly memorable, especially considering she gets minimal lines or screen time.

Her humiliation at the ball, and some hints that she may have a crush on Mr. Collins, have gained great sympathy from viewers.

* HollywoodHomely:
** The plain, bookish Mary is played by ''Talulah Riley''... one of St Trinian's hottest [[FilleFatale Fille Fatales]]. What's odd is that in casual at-home scenes, her plainness is emphasised. Yet at the balls, SheCleansUpNicely and is just as pretty as her sisters.
** Charlotte averts this in the 2005 version (in which she is played by Claudie Blakley); while she wouldn't crack any mirrors, and her actress is [[https://goo.gl/images/sTG4eR fairly good-looking,]] her make-up and hair are rather low-key and she is not prettied up in the least.

None

Added DiffLines:

* OneSceneWonder: Pip Torrens has only one major scene, but he memorably rattles off that three "Miss Bennet"s are there to visit.

Added DiffLines:

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: This version's Mary is increasingly OutOfFocus, despite the characterization and performance being well-received - in fact showing her trying to make an effort at the ball but embarrassing herself with her poor piano playing, and falling for Mr Collins.
