Welp, nothing happened after like… 2 months so I'm removing it. Plus Briggs is more like a protagonist that has his own business, not really a ""hero.""

%%* DesignatedHero: Briggs hardly does anything even remotely heroic throughout the course of the game. At best, he's just a complete asshole to everybody.

Wtf is that supposed [[Administrivia/Natter to meant?]]

Briggsy isn't Droods' Brent; his deeds are typical adventure game dckwaddery. Gonna delete if nothing changed after 2 weeks.(I don't know how to comment a line without a whole line of whitespace so I put it on bottom)

Feels like crosses the line twice because of the insanity and offensiveness.

* CrossesTheLineTwice: One of the {{NPC}}s (an old, hag-like woman) is named '''Cranny Faggot'''. Yes, really.[[note]] Granted, she's a cook, and a 'Faggot' is a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faggot_(food) is a traditional UK dish]], but still. Also a play on [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fanny_Cradock Fanny Cradock]], a noted restaurant critic.[[/note]]

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The "mystery in Darkmere" subplot is pretty much the only part of the game with anything resembling a cohesive storyline, and as such had the potential to be quite interesting as a stand-alone game if handled competently.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The "mystery in Darkmere" subplot is pretty much the only part of the game with anything resembling a cohesive storyline, and as such had the potential to be quite interesting as a stand-alone game if handled competently. Since it is merely one chapter in the game though, the story setup in it is short and doesn't get all that much focus, being largely irrelevant to the rest of the game.

* {{Padding}}: There are many corridors that serve no purpose other than to put more space between game-relevant rooms. Briggs' slow walking speed doesn't help. One notable case is in chapter 1, where Briggs has to give bones to three hellhounds, but for some reason, he can only carry a single bone at a time, so he must repeat the same trip three times.

** And even it is slightly debatable if Grunger's note in the prologue actually refers to Quagmire - the name on the note is "Jethro Quagmire", when Jethro is the name of the janitor in the Machine chapter. An intentional case of defying OneSteveLimit, or a continuity mistake? Only the developers know.

%%* UncannyValley: The CGI was never very good in this regard, but that final song... have fun trying to sleep tonight, kids!
