Added DiffLines:

* {{Adorkable}}: Scarecrow in "Lego DC Supervillains", being a major fanboy of Sinestro and having moments of nervousness and awkwardness.

** ''Lego Batman 3'' has an EarlyBirdCameo of the ''Arkham Knight'' Batmobile, which only purpose in the game is to be destroyed to build the Burton batmobile. The Arkham Knight batmobile's negative reception turns its destroyable nature into this.
** In ''Lego Batman 3'' when you visit Zameron Green Loontern suggests that the next game will have Pink bricks, referencing the pink color pallet. Then comes ''VideoGame/LegoMarvelSuperheroes2'' where the Red Bricks were replaced with pink bricks.

Then comes ''VideoGame/LegoMarvelSuperheroes2'' ''VideoGame/LEGOMarvelSuperHeroes2'', where the Red Bricks were replaced with pink bricks.Pink Bricks.

** "Jokerís Home Turf". The Joker campaign starts off on a boring slog of a level. By the time youíre done about twenty minutes later. You fight the Mad Hatter which is bad enough, because it should have been Scarecrow who is a better boss to have in a chemical plant than Mad Hatter. He isnít even that good of a boss because all you have to do is to dump him in toxic waste twice and punch him three times.

* ToughActToFollow:
** Given that ''LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes'' is a Batman game, expect the actors playing Batman and Joker (Creator/TroyBaker and Creator/ChristopherCoreySmith) to get a lot of flame bait for not being Creator/KevinConroy or Creator/MarkHamill. Never mind the fact that they actually put in a good performance on their own merit.
** ''Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham'' is already this for ''Lego Marvel Superheroes'' due to perceived fears that the League won't get as much publicity; however, most of the characters featured are not Bat-rogues or Bat-family members. [[TheyChangedItNowItSucks Which may make sole Batman fans unhappy due to the spotlight shift, or if some of the popular rogues are omitted to make room for other DC characters.]]
*** After the game's release, the consensus is that ''Beyond Gotham'' is a good game in its own right and does follow up on some of the good parts of ''Marvel Superheroes''. However, some feel that it could have gone further and critical reception has been mixed to positive, as opposed to generally positive.

** Due to the first game being predominantly based upon ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries'', with music and locations from the films utilized, Hush, a character who had no presence outside comics media at the time, was a surprise.

** Due to the first game being predominantly based upon ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries'', with music and locations from the films utilized, Hush, a character who had no presence outside comics media at the time, was a surprise. The same also applies to Killer Moth, who, compared to the vast majority of the villains featured, is much less well known.

Added DiffLines:

* NightmareFuel: When you finish the Hero side of the Jokerís chapter in the first game, a brief cutscene plays of Joker in his cell, putting a flag gun to his head before pulling the trigger. [[NotMakingThisUpDisclaimer Yes, a suicide joke is in a ''Lego'' game]].

* MostAnnoyingSound:
** Conan O'Brien '''NEVER. SHUTS. UP.''' Well, at least until some unknown godsend turns off the automatic speeches and lets the player activate him by choosing to. What causes this is unknown.
** Indigo-1's insults during her boss fight when she is rendered sociopathic after the Indigo Power Battery is damaged. "You ugly, foul-smelling morons!"
--->'''Flash:''' I know she doesn't have any compassion, but does she have to keep insulting us like that?

** With ''LEGO DC Supervillains'', while there's a lot of focus put upon the Joker in marketing, Batman's name has finally been dropped from the title, giving the game a title that better represents the DC Universe as a whole.
** Darkseid shows up in the Bizarro DLC for ''LEGO Batman 3'', but is defeated offscreen, which was considered disappointing. He's not only a character in the base game for ''LEGO DC Supervillains'', but is one of the members of the game's BigBadEnsemble, between his forces on Apokolips and the Crime Syndicate.
** After ''LEGO Batman 3'''s whopping six cameo characters (Geoff Johns, Jim Lee, Adam West, Kevin Smith, Daffy Duck, and Conan O'Brien), ''DC Supervillains'' returns the focus to DC characters and includes no celebrity cameos.

* HarsherInHindsight: Classic Wally West is playable in ''LEGO DC Super-Villains'' with his modern outfit for the first time, just a month after ''ComicBook/HeroesInCrisis'' [[spoiler:infamously [[DroppedABridgeOnHim killed him off offpanel]]. Which was only the beginning of how it controversially handled his character.]]

** Come ''LEGO DC Supervillains'', this is now the [[Franchise/DCAnimatedUniverse second time]] Charlie Schlatter has been replaced with Michael Rosenbaum as the Flash.

* PanderingToTheBase: Seems to have played a significant part in who was in the voice cast of ''LEGO DC Supervillains''; several characters were recast in favor of [[CantUnhearIt much more familiar]] actors, often from the ''Franchise/DCAnimatedUniverse'' or ''WesternAnimation/YoungJustice'', and even some of the ''Series/ArrowVerse'' shows.
* TheScrappy:
** While Conan O'Brien was something of a BaseBreakingCharacter before launch, after the game came out fans and critics came to dislike his role, since the jokes got old fairly quickly and he was seen as shoehorned in.
** Most fans dislike Killer Frost in DC Super Villains due to her change in design and preferred her comic book version.

** Metallo in ''Lego DC Super-Villains''. After the first level, most people thought he would be in the story. Instead, he's only a one episode character and doesn't appear afterwards. Plus, when you unlock him in free play, he doesn't have the flight ability he had in the first level.

** Due to their rarity of appearances in other media, it's rather surprising to see the Crime Syndicate, the MirrorUniverse counterparts of the Justice League, as major antagonists in ''LEGO DC Supervillains''.
*** The ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries'' pack gives you a group of famous characters from the series: Batman, Joker, classic Harley Quinn, [[WesternAnimation/BatmanMaskOfThePhantasm Phantasm]]... * VideoGameMoviesSuck: Inverted depending on your opinion regarding ''LEGO Batman: The Movie - DC Superheroes Unite''.
* WhatAnIdiot: There's lots of this in DC Super Villains. Examples being Captain Boomerang cutting off Ivy's vines instead of walking by, Harley dropping her phone and doesn't run to get it, resulting in it getting stolen, and more.

* UncannyValley: The Joker Robot in LEGO Batman 2 is freaky because of its face. It has a large jaw with red "lips" and the way it flaps when it "laughs" is pretty creepy. The jaw is just a ring, too, and the synthesized laughs are unsettling. When destroying it, the head spins around and falls off, leaving the jaw attached to the body. It's eerily similar to the appearance of the Joker's disembodied face in the New 52. Given the Joker, this is probably intentional.

* WhatAnIdiot:
* In "It's Good to be Bad", Harley catches a video of the Crime Syndicate zapping the Justice League away on her phone. After doing that, she gets on the chopper with the Joker, Mercy Graves, and Lex Luthor. After getting on, she accidentally drops her phone.
'''You'd Expect''': That she'd tell the pilot to stop the chopper so she could retrieve her phone.\\
'''Instead''': She just moans at how she dropped her phone, and lets the chopper drive away.\\
'''The Result''': The Crime Syndicate find her phone, but luckily, the Legion of Doom retrieve it and plan to expose the new villain group. Sadly, it was recorded over by a recording of Harley and the Joker stealing from Wayne Tech.
** In "The Harley and the Ivy", Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Killer Frost, and the Rookie arrive at Poison Ivy's swamp, where the owner and Harley are at, so they can expose the Crime Syndicate. However, there are vines blocking their way.\\
'''You'd Expect''': That they would walk by it and explain the situation to Poison Ivy and Harley. After all, the vines are meaningful to Ivy.\\
'''Instead''': Captain Boomerang decides to cut off the vines with his boomerang so they could get through.\\
'''The Result''': Ivy gets furious at them and a boss battle occurs. Luckily, the fight is stopped by Catwoman and Ivy is calmed down.
** In "Gridlocked, it's revealed that Luthor made a deal with the Syndicate with Luthor handing the Legion of Doom over to them so he could rule the Earth.\\
'''You'd Expect''': That Joker, who heard this, wouldn't make a big deal about it and let the Legion defeat the Syndicate.\\
'''Instead''': Joker makes a remark saying that Luthor can't be trusted.\\
'''As a Result''': Some of the Legion (including Joker), get stuffed in a elevator, resulting in the Legion losing the battle. Next, Luthor reveals that he's betraying the Syndicate and Legion and sending them away so he could rule the planet, but the Syndicate tell him not to activate the device that'd send them away.\\
'''You'd Expect''': For Luthor to listen and stop the plan. After all, he did make a deal with the Syndicate before he betrayed them.\\
'''Instead''': He chooses to ignore them and go on with his plan, making the Rookie have to destroy the device to make his plan fail.\\
'''The Result''': Luthor's plan fails due to everyone running away and this brings Apokolips to Earth. Way to go, Lex.
