* TearJerker: The entire story, really. It deals with the death of a camper and the resulting fallout it had on the teenagers that had spent the summer competing against them.

-->'''Chef Hatchet:''' Attention, all campers. At 22:38 this evening, [[spoiler:Gwen]] passed away from blood loss. She never regained consciousness. It is not likely that she suffered significantly. That is all.

* {{Squick}}: Although the story has only one violent scene, that scene is graphic enough that some violence-sensitive readers have reported having difficulty with it.

Factually inaccurate. Meghan Fahlenbock has reprised Gwen in Total Drama Rama, specifically in the episode "Tiger Fail", and there is no reason to suppose she could not do so again if one script or another called for it. In any case, this appears to be Not An Example because the circumstances of Fahlenbock's departure from the franchise have no meaningful similarities to the circumstances of Gwen's demise in the fic.

* HarsherInHindsight: The entire story is based around the repercussions of [[spoiler: Gwen]]'s violent demise. On Feburary 20th 2018, Meghan Fahlenbock (Gwen's voice actor) was apparently fired from the role, preventing her from reprising her in WesternAnimation/TotalDramaRama.
