BTM not YMMV. DILP and RTDE now about fandom trends not specific works doing it which is instead Adaptational tropes.

* BecomingTheMask: Loki's overall personal journey is definitely more complex than that, but some elements of it - like his (cheating) insistence on being sorted into Hufflepuff (with Annie) while he keeps doing more and more genuinely Hufflepuffish things as the series progresses - do carry shades of this.
* DracoInLeatherPants: ''Loki''. Somewhat justified as the series begins after {{Film/Thor}} and thus avoids his many [[MoralEventHorizon Moral Event Horizons]] in ''Film/{{The Avengers|2012}}.'' Also somewhat mitigated by the fact that Loki's evil deeds are neither overlooked nor forgiven and his guilt over them when he returns to his right mind is by no means downplayed.

* RonTheDeathEater: In ''Lonely Way Back Home'', [[spoiler:the [[Film/TheAvengers2012 Avengers]] of the alternate reality]] aren't nearly as nice as the counterparts that Loki is used to dealing with. So far, they could be considered WellIntentionedExtremist, but they are kind of approaching the line at times.
** [[spoiler:Now that the truth has started to come out, they're beginning to get a little nicer and more horrified at their actions. Even Thor gets uncomfortable when they start to realize they were wrong.]]

Only applies to fans of this work, not the authors thought on other works.

* FanonDiscontinuity: The writer of this series does not like the later additions to the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse, such as ''Film/{{The Avengers|2012}}'' or ''Film/ThorTheDarkWorld''. Not only are they not part of this storyline [[spoiler:except as an alternate reality]], but the author notes at the end of chapters often mention exactly why they don't consider those movies and their characterizations to be canon their stories.
