Uncanny Valley is IUEO now and the subjective version has been split; cleaning up misuse and ZCE in the process

** Despite the attempt at a reassuring message, ''What Was That!'' from "Scuffy the Tugboat and Other Tales" ends up being like this at times, often as AccidentalNightmareFuel, such as the DerangedAnimation attempts at ByTheLightsOfTheirEyes effects, occasional ominous background music cues, and some other [[UncannyValley freakish instances of the limited partial animation]].

** In the "Creator/RichardScarry's Old [=MacDonaold=]'s Farm" story, there's a scene where Mama gets the pig triplets Mac, Matt and Mike to take a bath, [[HatesBaths which they hate]] (and includes the iconic illustration of the triplets hiding in a laundry basket), and once in the tub they splash so much and make a mess they are sent to bed, where they jump around and have pillow fights, prompting Old [=MacDonald=] to say they'll have to sleep together tonight.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: In the ''Series/SesameStreet'' story "Big Bird Brings Spring to Sesame Street", The Count is supposed to count his bats, though his performer was unavailable, so they had the bats themselves do the counting instead. Also in the same story, the effect of Maria (renamed Dolores due to her being recast for the video) slipping and falling on the ice is pretty funny as well.
** The limited "Picturemation" animation effects often unintentionally fall into this territory, too.

**
In the ''Series/SesameStreet'' story "Super Grover and the Speeding Sled", when Super Grover attempts to land so he can "save" Rhonda Sue Bissey on her "runaway" sled, he's shown heading straight down, followed by the screen shaking back and forth accompanied by the sound of him yelling and comical "hit" sound effects, and once he finally lands in the snow, [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything the impact sounds suspiciously like a fart]].
** The same tape has a bit in
"Big Bird Brings Spring to Sesame Street", where The Count is supposed to count his bats, though his performer was unavailable, so they had the bats themselves do the counting instead. * NightmareFuel: Some of the early videos take this to the extreme by making scenes more intense or dramatic, such as the adaptations of ''Little Red Riding Hood'', ''Goldilocks and the Three Bears'' (Creator/RichardScarry version) and ''What Was That!'' Not to mention the ominous [[VanityPlate closing logo]] seen on some of the earlier videos, involving a ''comet collision'' in outer space!

** The adaptation
of ''Little Red Riding Hood'', Hood'' from "Fairy Tale Classics" gives the wolf a [[EvilSoundsDeep deep sassy voice]], and when he arrives at Grandma's house he does a [[LarynxDissonance fairly eerie imitation of Red's voice]] with a strange double effect. Then the effect of him eating Grandma in one gulp is represented with a shot of the Wolf giving a NightmareFace (complete with SlasherSmile) and zooming into one of his eyes. After getting into Grandma's bed wearing Grandma's nightcap and practicing his Grandma imitation, he lets our a creepy Creator/VincentPrice -esque EvilLaugh (while animated as a DerangedAnimation silhouette). Once Little Red Riding Hood arrives at Grandma's house, the background music starts to get pretty spooky. Then finally when he reveals himself to Little Red Riding Hood, he exclaims "Of course, my sweet child!" and the camera zooms into his SlasherSmile face as [[VoiceOfTheLegion his normal deep voice booms with an eerie echo]], "BETTER TO EAT YOU WITH, MY DEAR!"
** The
''Goldilocks and the Three Bears'' (Creator/RichardScarry version) has some fairly creepy moments, with the Bears thinking a burglar had broken into their house, and Goldilocks's dramatic fleeing from the house among seeing the bears.
