This comic isn't old enough to become an Unintentional Period Piece, one of those Hilarious In Hindsight entries isn't hindsight, and why the h*ll did someone cut and paste Trivia entries here?

** In Peter's [[http://www.platypuscomix.net/darkvault/freespirit.html first review]] of the TV show, one of the questions following a ''TV Guide'' [[http://www.platypuscomix.net/darkvault/freespirit1.jpg listing]] for the MissingEpisode "Love and Death" asks, "Did we really need three Robb episodes while poor Jessie only got one?" Afterwards, Peter would write so many comics about Robb, that he'd [[https://animesuperhero.com/forums/threads/free-spirit-cartoon-brew-talkback.5673521/post-86691151 lampshade]] Jessie's continued lack of attention in the "Cartoon Brew" Talkback thread:
--->Jessie needs her own stories badly! All she does in this is glare at Robb and make sarcastic comments. There is more to her than this, I swear!
* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: The comic mostly averts this by using references to 70's and 80's pop culture to fit with the time period in which [[Series/FreeSpirit the show it adapts]] is set, but there are some recent topics covered to fit in with the modern setting:
** "I Love Bread" references the ''Series/ThirteenReasonsWhy'' controversy and has Creator/OprahWinfrey[='s=] [[https://www.ispot.tv/ad/AtWY/weight-watchers-bread-featuring-oprah-winfrey ad for Weight Watchers]] as a plot device. It also mentions ''Series/CagneyAndLacey'' airing on This TV in the middle of the night, a practice of which stopped after [=StartTV=] got the rights to the show.
** "Robb's Not Dead" has a plot based on the Windows 10 Version 1809 update that deleted users' files.
** "Cartoon Brew" references Butch Hartman's ''Noog Network'' streaming service and spoofs the trend of making action cartoon reboots comedies.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** The original plot of "Skyway to the Danger Zone" had Winnie and Jessie get attacked by Army drones, instead of experimental Amazon delivery drones.
** "Junkyard Stories" originally ended with a story in which Winnie tormented a man dating two women at once, by "prophesizing" that one of those two women wants to kill him. Peter didn't get much farther in [[http://www.animesuperhero.com/forums/threads/free-spirit-junkyard-stories-talkback.5513901/#post-84416272 the script]] before deciding that he couldn't think of an ending that seemed unpredictable or satisfying enough.
** "Hallowinnie II: Season of the Witch" originally would have involved Winnie and the Harper kids saving the town from a monster, until Peter decided that the comic's small supporting cast weakened the stakes.
