The “pole through the ass” is clearly just a phrase, and never actually done by the heroes. When Red from That 70’s Show makes his “foot in the ass” claims, no one actually thinks he is going o anally rape his son with his foot. Duh.

* ValuesDissonance: Setting aside the fact 'a pole through the ass' could well kill the possessed human, non-consensual penetration whether by genitals, hands, or objects is legally rape. So, even with noble intentions of getting rid of demons and no sexual motive, the protagonists are still rapists. Going further, no character seems to acknowledge or care about the fact Raquel's mother, the man Raquel's demon father possessed, Raquel herself, and the person demon!Harry was possessing are all victims of rape. Neither Raquel or her mother would have consented to sex if they knew their husband/boyfriend was possessed, and neither of the possessed men had any say in whether their bodies were used to have sex with Raquel and her mother. The latter fact doesn't make Raquel and her mother in any way guilty or culpable- they had no way of knowing something was controlling their loved one's actions and words, but the fact the show doesn't acknowledge it is disturbing.
