** Charles Lampert aka Charles Voss: Who manages to outsmart everyone, even his own killer. Hiding the money in plain sight with the letter and the three seemingly ordinary looking stamps. Which in reality were collectively worth a fortune. It's also highly likely Charles knew that Reggie would give the stamps to Jean-Louis. Ensuring that in the end, none of his cohorts would be able to get the money.
