* NintendoHard: Between EverythingTryingToKillYou, bosses that take lots of hits, some annoying enemies (such as the robots that can be invulnerable while electrocuting Bugs), and a few cases of malevolent design (jump to get that item... and discover the chasm right below it!), the designers could proudly say "Ain't I a stinker?"

* Sugarwiki/NoProblemWithLicensedGames: [[NintendoHard Abusive difficulty]] aside, it is a fun game whose graphics, sound and ContinuityPorn makes it feel like a playable Looney Tunes cartoon.

* ThatOneLevel: The first four stages aren't too difficult, barring some obtuse boss mechanics. Stages five and six are a bit more challenging, mainly because this is where the game's love affair with the BottomlessPit becomes prominent. But stage seven, the ACME factory, is utterly ''brutal''. The lack of pits is a plus, but it's a long, spiraling labyrinth lousy with death traps. The enemies are two varieties of robots - the large ones are durable brutes with projectile attacks, and the yellow ones can shield themselves with electricity and the red ones can do that plus a flight mode where they drop bombs from a height that it's almost impossible to retaliate. Meanwhile, [[GoddamnedBats the little robots are blindingly fast and permanently electrified,]] meaning Bugs will be injured trying to use physical attacks on them unless he strikes from the farthest possible range. ACME devices will help destroy the robots easily (the wind-up tanks are especially a godsend), but supplies are limited and if you run out the constant barrage of robots will grind away at your health. And then comes the final corridor before the boss - a conveyor belt with large, smashing pistons. The pistons are one of the few OneHitKill s in the game, and the conveyor belt brings out Bugs's main weakness - he has a tall sprite and is incredibly slow (he doesn't even have a dash option). The most reliable way to get through is to use Bugs's spin attack, which most players don't use as it drains Bugs's health and lowers his stage-end bonus. Notably, the boss (Wile E. Coyote) isn't nearly as hard (he doesn't even attack you), but every time you want to damage him you must destroy two large robots, a dicey proposition if your health is already low. While stages eight and nine have their own issues, once you've bested the factory ''nothing'' they throw at you will faze you.
