Spoiler tagged, as the identity of Lady Arkham is a plot twist which deviates heavily from Batman mythos.

** Vicki Vale, of all people, crosses this by .
*** If she didn't cross it then, then she crossed it when she just to hurt .

* AccidentalAesop: The relationship dynamic between Batman, Harley Quinn, and John Doe sets up the lesson that positive relationships can truly help those who have been abused and mistreated by another. However, the vigilante path in "Same Stitch" pretty much deconstructs ThePowerOfLove by pointing out that even though Joker is trying to do the right thing and bring people to justice, his mental health issues make him a danger to himself and to others as well. Making the lesson "Yes, love and respect do go a long way in helping people. But, there are times when professional help is genuinely needed from people who are actually trained and qualified to help them in meaningful ways". Even though Bruce Wayne is trained to help people and apply basic medical training, he needed to do more to encourage John to get psychological help, rather than just allow Joker to tag along as a fellow vigilante.

* CryForTheDevil: Surprisingly, given his Jerkass role in the story, Carmine Falcone may elicit this reaction during his scene with Bruce . The scene is rather quiet and even a little melancholic, with all the revelations about Thomas and Martha (especially if the player decides to have Bruce "play nice" and not threaten him). * EvilIsSexy:
** Catwoman has her usual mysterious FemmeFatale appeal, though she drops the "evil" part quickly if you're nice to her.
** Penguin is more attractive in this continuity, too.
** Lady Arkham (a.k.a. ), naturally.
** is as sexy as she is crazy.

Added DiffLines:

** Replacing Lucius Fox with his daughter Tiffany, turning Vicky Vale and Thomas Wayne into villains, and potentially turning the Joker into a misguided hero can also be seen this way. In the eyes of some, it destroys a lot of characters purposes and motivations most egregiouslyit ruins Bruce's motivation for becoming Batman. Tearing down a lot of the men in the story and giving Harley control over the Joker can come off as extreme feminist takes.
