* HilariousInHindsight:
** Ten years before this series Anna Maxwell Martin (Mrs. Rogers), Charles Dance (Wargrave) and Burn Gorman (Blore) all starred in ''Literature/BleakHouse'', as Esther, Tulkinghorn, and Guppy respectively.
** Likewise, three of the actors Noah Taylor (Rogers), Burn Gorman (Blore), and Charles Dance (Wargrave) appeared in ''Series/GameOfThrones''. To take things up a notch, [[spoiler:all three actors' characters were killed in Season 4 of that show, and here, they die in the exact same order as they did in that season: first Taylor, then Gorman, and finally Dance]]. [[spoiler:Wargrave]] even says of Armstrong "he was very keen to forge an alliance" in such a contemptuous way you can easily imagine [[spoiler:Tywin Lannister]] saying it.

Cut per Evil Is Sexy TRS; it's become an objective, in-universe trope.

** Vera and Lombard's relationship. Was there some genuine affection on either or both of their parts, or were they just manipulating each other's sympathies for their own ends? Was Lombard's pleading for Vera to trust his belief that the murderer was neither one of them sincere or was he just trying to save his own skin? Furthermore, was Vera's proposal to Wargrave to frame Lombard for the murders simply the desperate plea of a woman searching for any way to persuade Wargrave not to kill her or the conniving words of a ManipulativeBitch who had never truly loved Lombard?

* {{Narm}}: Blore's death - not in how it's portrayed, which is [[JumpScare rather frightening]], but when you realize what actually happens there. Instead of having a marble clock shaped like a bear [[YourHeadAsplode dropped on his head]], Blore is stabbed to death with a carving knife while the killer apparently wears a polar bear rug like a poncho! Regardless of whether the killer could actually see out the open mouth, without the blurry-edged screen that implies that Blore thinks he's hallucinating it would look utterly ridiculous.

* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: Despite being a very dark story, the series does contain a few awesome moments. Most of them are villainous examples.
** After Philip Lombard freely admits his guilt, the others are understandably appalled. When Emily and Macarthur both call him a horrible person, Lombard gives Emily a short ShutUpHannibal lecture, before delivering one of the series' most iconic lines.
---> '''Lombard:''' So either I'm embellishing a story for shocking effect, or I'm the [[AllOfTheOtherReindeer only one]] telling the truth in a room [[LyingHeroesHonestVillains full of liars]].
*** Made even more awesome in hindsight, when we learn [[spoiler: that he was the only honest one!]]
** John Macarthur arguably gets a tragic one. Like in the book, he figures out what is happening and unlike the rest of the guests, he doesn't panic about it or rush around waiting for help that will never come. Instead, he accepts the inevitable and waits for the end.
** Edward Setton, Wargrave's alleged victim's role is expanded here, which in turn leads to a small one. [[spoiler: He was the '''only''' character in the entire story to realize what Wargrave was.]]
** The only heroic example on this list is Hugo Hamilton's short TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Vera following the enquiry into Cyril's death. He makes it very clear to her that he knows she is lying and reveals how he figured it out. Although forced to admit that he can't prove she murdered his nephew so that he could inherit, Hugo, makes it clear that if he could, ''he would see her hang''. He then leaves Vera, [[AllForNothing without a job or boyfriend!]]
*** After watching the episode a second time, you can even see ''when'' Hugo started to suspect her. [[spoiler: It was during his visit to Vera in the hospital. Whilst they were talking Vera unintentionally let her greed shine through and showed [[LackOfEmpathy little concern for Cyril]].]]
** Last but not least is how U.N. Owen, [[spoiler: i.e Wargrave]] handled his last victim, [[spoiler: Vera Claythorne.]] [[spoiler: After revealing his identity, the Judge calmly confesses all to her, whilst she is hanging from the ceiling by a noose. * FridgeBrilliance: The tiny AdaptationalAlternateEnding moment seems odd that Wargrave would come to taunt Vera as she starts to hang herself, until you remember in the books that it was a drunk Hugo who told Wargrave what his lover did. Here, we never see Hugo turning to alcohol and in fact promises that if he could find the proof that Vera let Cyril die on purpose, then he would see her hang. So it's highly possible that Wargrave, if Hugo was his informant, wanted to verify that Vera was guilty before carrying out the sentence to the end. Because he wasn't just committing murder; he was respecting a bereft uncle's wishes.
