* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: Argument on whether Akuma no Riddle was Ruined FOREVER, but as a psychological thriller (which it was marketed as!), the anime adaption took a clear downward turn in quality, if only because of Haru's Character Derailment. In the original source material, Haru was a BadassDamsel, and as one of the two main characters, her characterization has a huge impact on the plot. In the anime, her character was taken in a distinctly more DamselInDistress direction, which required serious application of the IdiotBall to justify without the story coming apart
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Out of all the assassins in the anime, [[spoiler:Shiena]] is with the least characterization. Her DarkAndTroubledPast of [[spoiler:being bullied and her being a BullyHunter]] are never brought up. You'll have to read the manga to know more about her. She is also the only assassin who doesn't have an ImageSong of her own, not even as a bonus track on the [=CDs=].

Evil Is Sexy is now disambiguation.

* EvilIsSexy: Since all the assassins are attractive, all of them count. Particularly Isuke, Haruki, and Sumireko when she changed out of her usual attire. [[TokenEvilTeammate Otoya Takechi]] as well, if you're into the CuteAndPsycho SerialKiller type.

Renamed

* HilariousInHindsight: One of the rumors about Class Black is that it is a class of idol girls. Some of the assassins are voiced by idol seiyuus. This also crosses with WhatTheHellCastingAgency, as [[Creator/AzumiAsakura Isuke]] was once a [[Anime/TheIdolMaster shy, androphobic idol girl]]. Doubles as a CastingGag.

I have only ever heard this called yuri and the final episode has Haru say she loves Tokaku.

** There is also some debate whether the anime should count as a yuri anime, since none of the hinted relationships rise above subtext. The one kiss in the anime only happens [[spoiler:because Haru gives Tokaku oxygen so she won't drown]].
