In 2020 while the company was already on a break due to the Covid-19 outbreak, a number of British wrestlers including some Progress regulars were accused of abusing partners or trainees, and the company announced a complete management overhaul to put in place people better equipped to deal with these kinds of situations. At the same time it announced it would be staying on break until these measures were fully in place.
