Born Frederick Marty Jannetty on February 3, 1960, Marty Jannetty is an American {{Professional Wrestl|ing}}er who is, [[NeverLiveItDown unfortunately]], best known as the former {{Trope Namer|s}} for BreakupBreakout, which was originally called The Jannetty. He debuted in 1984 and worked for various Wrestling/NationalWrestlingAlliance territories and for the Wrestling/AmericanWrestlingAssociation. His most famous work was him teaming with Wrestling/ShawnMichaels as The Midnight Rockers, later renamed The Rockers in Wrestling/{{WWE}}. That ended when Shawn infamously threw Marty through the window of the set of [[Wrestling/BrutusBeefcake Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake]]'s [[TalkShowWithFists "The Barber Shop"]] on the January 12, 1992 (taped December 3, 1991) ''WWF Wrestling Challenge''. He would drift in and out of WWE every few years, starting in 1993. He also appeared for Wrestling/{{WCW}}, Wrestling/{{ECW}} and numerous independent promotions.

Along with his IC Title reign, he and [[Wrestling/SeanWaltman The 1-2-3 Kid]] held the [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/wwe/wwe-world-t.html WWE World Tag Team Titles]], he is a former [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/us/centralstates/nwa/cs-h.html NWA Central States Heavyweight Champion]], a former [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/us/centralstates/nwa/cs-tv.html NWA Central States Television Champion]], a former 4x [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/us/centralstates/nwa/cs-t.html NWA Central States Tag Team Champion]] (2x w[=/=]Tommy Rogers as The Uptown Boys, 1x w[=/=]Bob Brown and 1x w[=/=]Shawn as The Midnight Rockers), he and Shawn were 2x [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/us/tn/cwa/awa-s-t.html AWA Southern (Memphis) Tag Team Champions]] and they were 3x [[http://www.wrestling-titles.com/awa/awa-t.html AWA World Tag Team Champions]].
