** Freakshow derides the Guys in White as "Top-secret ghost catchers who can't actually catch ghosts" and they quickly prove him wrong by showing they've captured his ghost ally Lydia as a demonstration of their prowess, which they use to force Freakshow to help them with the Reality Gauntlet. Unfortunately for the Guys In White, Freakshow is a step ahead of them, using their desire to eradicate all ghosts with the gauntlet to his advantage, explaining the gauntlet to the best of his ability until he pulls out his trump card... his earring which is revealed to be the power source for the gauntlet, which he uses to activate the Reality Gauntlet and escape with Lydia.
