** In a surprising little twist, "Up All Knight"'s Aesop of "Being Kind is the best policy" gets twisted when Nella's song teaches Blaine that he should pretend to be kind to get what he wants. When that backfires and makes things worse, an additional layer of Aesop is learned that one must be sincere in one's positive endeavors, including kindness, in order to make the best of things.

* DependingOnTheWriter: In just his first two appearances, Blaine goes from being a brat who actually ''learns deceitfulness'' from AnAesop about kindness to a surprisingly fun and endearing, boisterous cool kid and the first knight after Nella to showcase his bravery and physicality.

Then there's Clod, who seems like a normal stallion, until you notice the distinctive traits he has, including his two small, curly horns and blue mane and tail. Among the humans, Willow has green hair, and it was a point of contention for her in her old Kingdom. The crux of her debut episode was to show her that she didn't have to be ashamed of being herself with her green hair in her new home.
