Added DiffLines:

* EvilIsPetty: Fizz will sometimes try to eliminate Magoo despite being aware that he's blind and only foils his plots through dumb luck.

* PunchClockVillain: Weasel, Fizz's assistant, isn't really that evil and seems to be good off the clock.

* UnknownRival: Magoo is completely unaware of Fizz's existence and anything he does to foil his schemes is done by accident.

Added DiffLines:

* FormallyNamedPet: Your dog's name is Mr. Cat.

* ArtShift: It's a little more closer to the style of shows such as Series/ZigAndSharko, but justified as it's produced by the same people as that show!

Added DiffLines:

* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: The president looks like UsefulNotes/Barack Obama, but does not have his name revealed.

Added DiffLines:

* ArtisticLicence:Biology: In "Free The Rabbit", Magoo claims that rabbits are rodents, they are not, rabbits are part of the Lagomorpha family.

* AdaptedOut: Waldo doesn't exist in this continuity at all.

to:

* AdaptedOut: Waldo Waldo, Mr. Magoo's nephew from the original series, doesn't exist in this continuity at all.

Added DiffLines:

* DenserAndWackier: The original series was DarkerAndEdgier at times, but this falls right into this trope by virtue of a megalomaniac hamster and emphasis on outright comedy.

* BigBad: Fizz the Hamster, who is as megalomaniac as possible.

Mr.Magoo is a reboot of the original WesternAnimation/MrMagoo cartoon.

Mr.Magoo is a reboot of the original WesternAnimation/MrMagoo cartoon.cartoon.

Most of the humor in Mr. Magoo's cartoons came from his visual handicap and his staunch refusal to acknowledge it.

!!Mr. Magoo (2019) provides examples of:

* AdaptedOut: Waldo doesn't exist in this continuity at all.
* AlternateContinuity: This is a completely separate continuity to the original shorts, and very different in style and tone.
* ArtShift: It's a little more closer to the style of shows such as Series/ZigAndSharko, but justified as it's produced by the same people as that show!
* BadassGrandpa: He's old, short and visually impaired. He still can go on adventures, perform incredible feats for a man of his age and mop the floor with whoever who tries to mess with him for real.
* BigBad: Fizz the Hamster, who is as megalomaniac as possible.
* BlindWithoutEm: Not only is Magoo blind without glasses, he never had 'em in the first place. This is the cause of much of his trademark comedy.
* CartoonCreature: Fizz may be a hamster, but he has tiger-esque coloring and facial features.
* CityWithNoName: The city in the new setting doesn't even have a name.
* ContinuityReboot: It starts entirely from a clean slate, with the only thing remaining from the original being Mr.Magoo's visual handicap.
* FluffyTheTerrible: Would you really expect Fizz as a name for a megalomaniac hamster?
* FriendlyEnemy: There are times when Weasel can be quite civil to Magoo and even help him.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: So far, Fizz seems to get caught in his own traps - one example was him getting injured while trying to infiltrate a BlandNameProduct Oscars counterpart, and getting injured during filming.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: Fizz tries to succeed, but fails every so often that it's probably easy to root for him.
* LighterAndSofter: Compared to the 1959-1977 originals, this is more focused on Slapstick and outright comedy.
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: Weasel isn't that evil compared to Fizz, although he is sometimes subservient to him.
* ProWrestlingEpisode: Parodied. In fact, it ends up being more like Mistaken For Magician when Mr. Magoo assumes the wrestling ring is actually a magician's arena!
* PunchClockVillain: Weasel, Fizz's assistant, isn't really that evil and seems to be good off the clock.
