* CartoonCreature: Kate and Mim-Mim's friends in Mimiloo are this. Some of them are vaguely animal-like (such as Tack having features that resemble frogs and slugs), but Lily and her brother Boomer don't resemble any particular animal at all.

* GadgeteerGenius: Tack, who's known for inventing gadgets and stuff.

* [[MrImagination Miss Imagination]]: This is the basic idea. Kate's imagination is so powerful that in each episode she goes on detailed adventures in Mimiloo with an animate version of her stuffed bunny friend, Mim-Mim, and their other friends Mimiloo.

* ExplainExplainOhCrap: In "Boomer's Blanky," said blanky gets lost because of Tach's invention with makes things float through the air. Mim-Mim eventually finds it, but neither he nor Boomer recognize it for what it is because it's been washed and it's normally stinky. So Mim-Mim lets it go, back on its "magical journey through the sky." Eventually, Gobble, who had washed it, catches up with Mim-Mim, who talks about how he found that particular blanket and eventually released it.
