* ActorAllusion: Or the fanfic equivalent. [[PierceBrosnan Brosnan]]!Bond meets with [[Film/GoldenEye Jack Wade]] at a nightclub to deliver a disc that comes from someone named Film/{{Mitchell}} (who Jack doesn't like). Wade was played by Joe Don Baker, who also played Mitchell.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[SeanConnery Connery]]!Bond swoops in and rescues [[Film/OnHerMajestysSecretService Lazenby]]!Bond from some goons.

** The 23 Doctors stopped being updated in 2013, and as of 2016 has not been continued. Rich answered to someone who asked that the introduction of the War Doctor and new orders meant he'd have to change the story, and as two years had passed it would no longer be a 50th anniversary story.

* Franchise/DoctorWhoExpandedUniverse: It's mostly ignored. Rich has explained that including every novel, comic, and audio drama would add too many complications. Plus, following the TV show canon leaves him with plenty of room within the show's individual continuity (especially with regard to the wide-open timeline of the Eighth Doctor) to place the comics into. The only Expanded Universe bits that he ''does'' use are those pertaining to the "lost" season 23, which was scrapped for "Trial of a Time Lord" and subsequently adapted into novels and Creator/BigFinish audios.

* HaveWeMetYet: The Fifth Doctor and Nyssa[[note]](between [[Recap/{{DoctorWhoS19E7Time-Flight}} "Time-Flight"]] and [[Recap/DoctorWhoS20E1ArcOfInfinity "Arc Of Infinity"]])[[/note]] run into the Master.[[note]](post-[[Recap/DoctorWhoS26E4Survival "Survival"]], pre-[[Recap/DoctorWhoTVMTheTVMovie TV Movie]])[[/note]] The following exchange occurs:

* FanVerse: All of the ''Doctor Who'' comics ([[ShrugOfGod possibly]] with the exception of ''[[GuestStrip Seeds of Destruction]]'') take place in the same continuity as ''The 10 Doctors''.
** This fan verse also incorporates ''Series/ForeverKnight'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Jem}}'', and JamesBond. And it's implied that it also includes ''Series/StargateSG1''.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Frequently crops up in the standard ''Doctor Who'' fashion. In ''Outrage'', Six reveals Jem's secret identity to Rio; in ''Seeds of Destruction'', Five lands on the dangerous planet [[spoiler:Kryn]] instead of in Pasadena; and in ''A Time To Kill'', Ten completely shatters JamesBond's cover.

Donna and the Tenth Doctor meet JamesBond and blow his cover by accident. Meanwhile, in 1973, Blofeld captures the Master, and one James Bond rescues another James Bond. And elsewhen, yet ''another'' James Bond visits a nightclub.
