Working last minute on a science project with some help from his best friend Nemo, he creates Pandora: a stoic zombie girl confused by the strange world she's been brought into. Now living together with her creator, the comic describes their daily struggles of day to day life in a devil's world.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: ''Hitomi,'' who, while a ShrinkingViolet, also has SuperStrength that at least rivals Pandora's. When the local {{Alpha Bitch}}'s boyfriend tries to stop Hitomi and Pandora from competing in the school's fashion show, Hitomi tells Pandora to go on ahead while she deals with him. * LoadsAndLoadsOfRaces: Devils come in countless varieties, called devil types, all of whom are interfertile and capable of mixing traits. The main cast alone includes an imp, a half-invisible grindylow, a horned cyclops (with no horns because she's half-nymph), a daemon, a vampire, a satyr, and Pandora (a unique FrankensteinsMonster). Devil legend says they used to be one species, but became varied after accepting biological augmentations from an entity called the Giver.

* TheAce: Methia. ''In spades.'' While on the phone with Tremolo she's simultaneously undertaking a very difficult ice skating routine as well as performing open-heart surgery.
* AdjustingYourGlasses: Horatio does it with what would be his wrist if his arm wasn't an enormous bug pincer.

* AlphaBitch: [[AnIcePerson Silky]], the president of the fashion club. Has a whole cadre of boy hangers-on, including her boyfriend, [[PlayingWithFire Lavi]], who is just as self-centered as she is.

* ArtificialHuman: Pandora, for a certain definition of "human". She's a devil like everyone else in this series, but apart from her freakish strength she's the most human-like.
* TheBerserker: Pandora, when she gets thrown into a fight.

* ButtMonkey: Gyro gets repeatedly pummelled throughout the first chapter, culminating in becoming a TwinkleInTheSky and losing his arm. [[MadScientist He]] [[ManipulativeBastard deserves every second of it]].

* ChickMagnet: Nemo. Pandora visibly blushes when she sees him fully opaque (and wet) and Echo's book club members all express an attraction to him...[[EvenTheGuysWantHim even Ringo, the only guy in the club]].

* CuteBruiser: Hitomi launches a monster tens of times her size into the air by slapping it.

* MadScientist: Gyro. It's revealed in chapter two that he used to be in the Science Club, who are all just as mad as he is.

* MorphWeapon: Nemo's "bag". It can turn into various weapons and its true form seems to be some sort of bat. (Bat as in small flying mammal.)
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Gyro tends to sort of wrap himself around whoever he's talking to.
* OnlySaneMan: Nemo, causing Kazu to neglect to mention that Yahgie's rock-off might get everyone killed, since Nemo would just call the police. This also annoys the Literature Club when he refuses to solve a murder by following popular mystery cliches, prompting some intervention on their part.

* ScreamingWarrior: Pandora roars a lot whenever she fights.

* SociopathicHero: Nemo, in direct contrast to [[NiceGuy Kazu]].
* TheStoic: Pandora, most of the time.
* SuperStrength: Pandora and Hitomi both have this, the latter much more so.
