Nominal Hero should be moved to YMMV at least, until there is more evidence to support its inclusion

* NominalHero: Each of the party members is on a quest to save the world, though their exact motivations are still up for debate.
** Especially Eren, who [[spoiler:killed a 12-year-old boy--one of the guards they fought in Episode 2. He insists it was a mercy killing.]]

Clarity to intro.

''Casters & Castles'' is a debatably bi-weekly [[WebOriginal web series]] where a group of casters for the [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/VideoGame/Overwatch Overwatch]] League play ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons''.

The games are broadcast live on [[https://www.twitch.tv/sideshow Twitch]] and posted later to [[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLs8PITS62wDZIkVyEGPgJRYKGjxV8uaXS YouTube]].

!!The cast is as follows:

* Jonathan "Reinforce" Larsson as Jonny the Wise Cleric
* Josh "Sideshow" Wilkinson as Alan the Bard
* Mitch "Uber" Leslie as Eren the [[spoiler:Aasimar]] Fighter
* Ashley "[=DriftwoodAsh=]" Middlebrook as Lysha the Wood Elf Druid

!!Tropes found in Casters & Castles include:

* BigCreepyCrawlies: As a druid, one of the creatures Lysha can Wild Shape into is a Giant Spider.
* BroadcastLive: On Twitch.
* CommonTongue: A literal example, as Dungeons & Dragons uses "Common" as the basic language for all characters to use, despite members of the party being of different races (which all have their own languages).
* DamselInDistress: Subverted. Lysha is the only woman in the party, but often ends up being the most effective in and out of combat.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Lysha always wants to avoid killing and berates the others for killing, but it usually the most deadly in combat (and once combat has started, rarely looks to stop it peacefully). See also HypocriteHasAPoint, since Bren likes to make the players feel bad about murdering, by telling them the backstory of the [=NPCs=] they kill.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: The players occasionally use suggestions from Twitch chat, and chalk it up to "voices" inside the characters' heads.
* LeaveNoSurvivors: What most of the party wants to do, most of the time. Much to Lysha's distress.
* TheMagnificent: Jonny the Wise.
* {{Nerf}}: Due to a misunderstanding about the spell's description, Lysha's Moonbeam in Episode 3 does way more damage than it is meant to. This, presumably, will be altered in future installments.
* NominalHero: Each of the party members is on a quest to save the world, though their exact motivations are still up for debate.
**Especially Eren, who [[spoiler:killed a 12-year-old boy--one of the guards they fought in Episode 2. He insists it was a mercy killing.]]
* TheRolePlayer: As a whole, the group seems more concerned with having an interesting character than having one with perfect stats.
* RPGMechanicsVerse:
->'''Lysha:''' I don't want to burn a 2nd level spell slot on this.\\
'''Alan:''' What's a spell slot?
