* ''Cattibal Holocaust'': Lloyd agrees to help a collage professor find one of his lost students in the amazonian jungle and takes Glynis with him so they booth can go on a vacation there. Needless to say, things does not go as planned. Based on Film/CannibalHolocaust and other ''Amazonian cannibal'' movies.

* BadPeopleAbuseAnimals: Roger in episode 2 spends the whole episode needlessly killing random jungle animals around him, an obvious jab at the animal cruelty ''Film/CannibalHolocaust'' was infamous for.

* ReferenceOverdosed: Oh God. Most are references for movies reviewed by The Cinema Snob, but there's everything to a Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000 segment in episode 2 to the horrible misfire that was ''The Chevy Chase Show'' in episode 5.

* TeachHimAnger: Lloyd's goal by the end of the first episode. Lloyd is told by Chloe that he is too easy-going, any bit of anger or irritation vanishing in an instance and it is that lack of passion that is keeping him single. By the end, he gets in touch with these feelings by [[spoiler:killing the [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating very annoying]] Dookie and Zico.]]

* TributeToFido: Both Lloyd and his secretary Chloe are Brad Jones's cats.

* ''Tequila and Bonetti: The Motion Picture'': In which Lloyd helps the titular duo find tequila's lost burrito. Based on the series of the same name, which is a regular feature of one of Brad's other shows; WebVideo/DVDRHell.

* ''Oh! Heavenly Cat'': Lloyd is shot down and killed while walking down the street, but gets a chance to solve his own murder by god with only one catch, he has to do it as a human, specifically as Creator/ChevyChase. Based on Film/OhHeavenlyDog.
* ''Litterbox'': After having a breakup with Glynis in the last episode. Lloyd tries to forget her by romancing a client, to bad her 'Nether regions' has something to say about it though. Based on ''Chatterbox'' and other ''Talking vagina'' movies.

* FriendlessBackground: In episode 2, the only "friends" Lloyd has are Chloe (who works for him), TheBartender (whom he pays money to for drinks) and a list of whiskeys that he names off the top of his head. Glynis asks for some space and tells him to get a friend so that she can be by herself for a while, becoming his arc for the episode. He eventually gains a friend in the form of Sasquatch.

* MadGod: Shades of this. Not only does God manifest as a giant pink unicorn, but he lets Lloyd solve his own murder by possessing the body of actor ''Creator/ChevyChase.'' Apparently he only did this for Lloyd.

* CatStereotype: Mocked incessantly in Episode 5. When Lloyd asks God (who is a pink unicorn voiced by Hugo from ''WebVideo/TheBibleReloaded'') if he could possess a body similar to his own, the options he is given are that of a live-action Siamese (which is just footage of Brad’s real-life cat that Lloyd is based off of) and a racist Asian caricature that parodies the Siamese cat from ''Disney/TheAristocats''.

* GenderFlip: Real life Lloyd is actually a female cat, while Lloyd in this series is male.
