History WMG / Runaways

We have yet to be told where Klara gets her power from. Nico recently said even they aren't sure. Now look at the lineup, past and present, of the team: Alex (Badass Normal), Nico (magic), Karolina and Xavin (alien), Molly (mutant), Victor (robot), Gert/Old Lace (Time Travel/Genetic Engineering) and Chase (technology). Here we have every power origin in the MarvelUniverse except for one: the gods. None of the characters have ties to ancient mythology. So, Klara is daughter of a god or goddess, a goddess herself with amnesia, or blessed by a goddess. Since she was born around the Industrial Revolution, she may be [[GaiasVengeance Gaia's Champion.]]

The Gibborim are Gods who, in an attempt to make the world a better place, created a secret society consisting of Time Travelers, Aliens, [=ESPers=]/Telepathic Mutants, Mad Scientists, and [[BadassNormal Badass Normals]]. This sounds like something Haruhi would do out of boredom. The Gibborim, however, are consciously aware of their powers; but they were sealed away by their previous espers when they went AGodAmI and became evil.

Molly has one-shotted both Wolverine and Punisher, mostly because it is awesome and hilarious to see a 12-year-old girl gutpunching ThePunisher. Molly gets more power by fighting in funny matchups.

So far, it is implied that the ArcVillain of the "Canon Fodder"[=/=]J-Team story arc (Issues #25-31) is siphoning off the gang to regain his youth. The logical conclusion to this would be that by the time the villain is defeated, the Runaways would have been aged into adulthood. This would conveniently explain why so far Marvel has said or shown nothing about the upcoming ''ComicBook/{{Outlawed}}'' status quo (heroes under the age of 21 being prohibited from vigilantism) affecting them, if it does at all.

My Guessings about them are the next:
* Nico Minoru: obviously with ''Film/DoctorStrange'', since her mother appears in the movie. Maybe her mother was a more nice person...until Mordo decided to strip her of her powers or tortured her because he wanted the names and directions of her apprentices.
* Alex Wilder: his parents were one of the many criminal families of New York or had associates there, but decided to get out of the city [[Series/Daredevil2015 for]] [[Series/JessicaJones2015 very]] [[Series/LukeCage2016 good]] [[Series/IronFist2017 and]] [[Series/TheDefenders2017 rational]] [[Series/ThePunisher reasons]].
* Karolina Dean: her mother would casually mention having a previous relationship with a ManChild with a [[Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy ridiculous nickname]] before coming to Earth.
* Gert Yorkers: her parents would be previously scientists of SHIELD that were charged with studying the Tesseract and ended without work after the events of ''Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier''. Old Lace is not a dinosaur but an alien animal that they accidentally summoned during an experiment and decided to take with them.
* Chase Stein: his parents worked on the [[Film/IronMan1 military branch of Stark Industries]] until [[RealityEnsues they lost their job when Tony closed that branch]]. For bonus points, it will be revealed that they were among the scientists that were berated by Odadiah Stane for fail to replicate Tony's Armor.
* Molly Hernandez: her parents were civilians until they [[Series/AgentsOfShield ate some fish oil supplements]] and everyone they knew [[FantasticRacism began to see them as less than human]]. Or they were from [[Series/AgentsOfShield Afterlife]] and escaped or were exiled before having Molly or when she was very little, making her ignorant of her heritage. However they still had with them some of the supplements or maybe even a Terrigen Crystal that Molly WILL end up using during the pilot or in the middle/ending of the First Season.
* Victor Mancha: an [[Series/AgentsOfShield LMD]] or [[Film/AvengersAgeOfUltron Ultron Drone]] that gained true sentience and has a very hard case of PinocchioSyndrome. If he is an Ultron Drone, he has matured more than the original and really thinks like a human. The Runaways would be the first people he finds that at least hear his side of the story and he joins the group [[TheAtoner to atone for the sins of his creator]].
* Xavin: [[Film/TheAvengers2012 a Chitaury]] that survived when Iron Man closed the Portal, he/she and others of his/her species had been hunted by SHIELD and HYDRA since the failed invasion, making him/her the LastOfHisKind on Earth right now. This, however, will serve to Retcon the Chitaury into an entire TragicVillain species: it will be revealed that [[GreaterScopeVillain Thanos]] conquered their planet and forced the survivors to [[UnwillingRoboticisation be transformed into his soldiers]]. The reason they are AlwaysChaoticEvil is because they [[AndIMustScream are completely aware of their situation]], with Xavin being one of the few that [[HeroicWillpower hadn't turn insane]]. To make his/her situation more of a TearJerker, he/she is at the brick of [[DrivenToSuicide taking his/her own life]] after all that has happened when the Runaways find him/her. To explain his/her powers, it would be revealed that the Chitauri had been experimented in the past by the Kree, making him/her a non-human Inhuman, and can change appearances because he/she stole [[Series/AgentsOfShield a camouflage device similar to the used by Agent 33 from some HYDRA operatives]].
* Klara Prast: an [[Series/AgentsOfShield Inhuman]], HumanAlien stranded on Earth and adopted or just a [[DifferentlyPoweredIndividual Gifted]], she began to show [[GreenThumb powers]] at an early age and her parents thought they were antinatural, but [[GenreSavvy knew that their neighbors would meddle if they tried to kill her]], so they decided to marry her to a guy that could be her father to get rid of her. Now, there are two options about how to do this: 1) Klara exist in PresentDay but lives in a community like the Amish, that likely don't have a clue about all that had happened in the world outside their village; and 2)the Runaways travel in time to 1907 and, when they discover her situation, take her with them. Hey, if they do 2) the 1) would be a very good escuse if they had to explain her behaviour to modern day people.
