This was something that caused some stir before the game's launch due the lack of DP inputs players decrying that for oversimplifying the game, but I think seeing a sequel as evolving the first game, adding a new special move motion would be good for the game's skill expression as well as grant more options to the whole cast. It would free up the Reversal input for many characters for example and free up an input for more options.
