[[WMG: Banjo and Kazooie's ''Smash Ultimate'' appearance will eventually lead to a franchise revival not unlike ''VideoGame/CrashBandicoot'''s]]
It would begin with ''N. Sane''-style remakes of the first two games, followed by maybe a heavily-retooled version of ''Nuts and Bolts'', before eventually resulting in a proper ''Banjo-Threeie'' a la ''VideoGame/CrashBandicoot4ItsAboutTime''.

To try and quote him: "He's probably terrorizing some poor Sonic fan out there, but there's nothing I can really do about it."

In an in-character Q&A on Reddit's facebook page, L.O.G. mentions that he has a tendency to create REALLY bad games whenever he has nightmares. Since he created pretty much every videogame in existence, he may have created Sonic.exe after a nightmare he had of the Blue Blur.

* This is actually evidenced in Banjo-Tooie, upon attempts to fight her without knowing Breegull Blaster or Clockwork Kazooie Eggs.

The Mario from ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'' and the Donkey Kong from ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry'' are the respective sons of Jumpman and the Donkey Kong / Cranky Kong from the original ''VideoGame/DonkeyKong''. After that, Diddy Kong, a character canonical in the [[SuperMarioBros Mario]][[TheVerse verse]] due to his connection to the original DK (and some of the spin-offs as well), stars in ''VideoGame/DiddyKongRacing'', in which our friend Banjo makes his first appearance. Since, as stated above, DKR is canonical in the Banjo-verse, Mario and Banjo inhabit different areas of the same world. Not to mention comments about "That Italian Gentleman" in both ''Banjo Tooie'' and ''Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts''.

There are three notable things about this odd relationship: their personalities contrast, Banjo owns their house, and Kazooie knows more about beating up bad guys. It's not hard to imagine Kazooie was drifting about before she met Banjo, who had the misfortune of living right next to a creepy witch, and offered to help him fend off any weird monsters that came too close to his humble home in exchange for living in it, to which he agreed. Being incredibly different in terms of personality, it seemed like the two would end up going their separate ways at some point, but that never really came to pass because they got too used to the arrangement and are now genuinely fond of one another despite their differences.

He's a bit smaller than a brown bear. Also his snout is a lighter color than the rest of his fur.
