!: Hippolyta hated the play so badly...
She called off the wedding. In fact, she swore off mortal men altogether. Just then, Zeus, the god of lightning, appeared next to her, and said he knew a great little island that she and her lady friends could have all to themselves. Hippolyta said okay, but only if Zeus she was still granted a daughter. Zeus said he had an idea, asked how she liked the name [[ComicBook/WonderWoman Diana]] before teleporting them both away in front of the stunned mortals.

Puck had to apply the love-potion on the four of them so many times(more than were shown in the original play) that in the end, he finally hit all four with the love-potion, arranged the bodies of all four so they would wake up in a circle, each one seeing the other three, and called it a night. Oberon's reaction was to shrug his shoulders and say "Close enough". While officially Hermia married Lysander and Helena married Demetrius, the reality was that all four were happily [[{{Polyamory}} polyamorous]]. And as Oberon and the fairies blessed them at the end, declaring that they (along with Theseus and Hippolyta) would "ever true in loving be", the four of them remained together happily for the rest of their days.
