** The Flying Squid's bears some resemblance to the UsefulNotes/FlyingSpaghettiMonster, and one of its skills is even named "Pastafury".

** The first Chest Guardian of Recon Site is "The Xeno" and it's essentially a XenomorphXerox... but with the face of those cute green aliens.

** The third Chest Guardian of Recon Site is "The Red Shirt" and it's one of those cute green aliens wearing the same red shirt from the ''Franchise/StarTrek'' franchise and wielding a Klingon weapon.
** The description for the Chaos Resort has well, this:

** The Challenge boss to obtain the Durahell Batteries for the Arcane forge is the Durahell Bunny -- a huge blue cyborg Duracell/Energizer Bunny expy.
** The three parts that can be modified per the Fun with Surgery update are the Brain, Heart, and Toe. The toe is a nod to another wizard with a magical toe, [[WebAnimation/WeeblAndBob Magical Trevor]].

* HornyDevils: The succubus, who offers the player a DealWithTheDevil (gives a boost if they watch an advertisement or trade a Bloodstone).

* DifficultySpike: The King and his guard are ''far'' tougher than any of the citizens' buildings before them. And even if the king goes down easily, the kingdom's Wizard is ''even'' tougher, with over 30 times the health of the king and ''far'' shorter of a time limit!

* DivinelyAppearingDemons: The Succubus' Halloween 2016 costume is an angel. In 2017, it's a... hot dog, which is rather less divine looking.

* NiceHat: Killing a king for the first time gets you their crown, which can be worn and removes the tenth house (which has a lot more HP than the other nine) per level in their territory.

* VendorTrash: Some items are only worth crafting for their price in white orbs.

** Many upgrades offer enormous benefits, but require huge amounts of diamonds (without paying, limited to 11 every four hours and whatever scrolls drop them) and/or days of waiting (with a 4h boost every four hours).

* BalanceBuff: The Magic Potato Baby was considered a PowerUpLetdown since it only gave +30 orbs to all Common bosses, and one of its ingredients (the Potato Man) had a better ability that gave +20% orbs from all bosses. Since the latter was multiplicative, it quickly outclassed the Magic Potato Baby's effect. A later update changed the Magic Potato Baby to give +50% orbs from all bosses, which makes it a far more useful item compared to the Potato Man.

* OurAngelsAreDifferent: The Angel, who is is Bob's Nemesis, and appears as a handsome blonde winged man in HeavenlyBlue armor wielding a blue spear. Defeating him gives Bob some very nice rewards but also makes the angel gain 100 levels each time.

** Bob himself could be a possible example, if his green skin's due to undeath like the other zombies. Possibly supporting this is the fact that he can easily use strange organs to replace his own without any negative effects.

* BodyHorror: The Red Knight's comments imply Bob has termites in his ''teeth''. And then there's the matter of his body parts being "infected" or full of tentacles... Granted, Bob is most likely an [[OurLichesAreDifferent undead necromancer]] as well.

* IdleGame: It's even in the title. However, the player needs to be more active if they want to gain higher levels and craft items. Having the Chest Collector while hiring the Chest Guardians and the Kings will also allow the player to complete entire areas without having to enter them.

* BodyHorror: The Red Knight's comments imply Bob has termites in his ''teeth''. And then there's the matter of his body parts being "infected"...
