As per unreleased works cleanup thread discussion, if it's in early access it should no longer be listed in Future Works or subject to those rules. Comments deleted accordingly.

I found this page by chance and decided to check if the game got released. As far as I can tell the answer is "no, not yet"

Speculative Troping - we're not interested in what will "probably" happen in the final game.

* RegeneratingHealth: Health steadily regenerates in the pre-alpha footage, but this probably won't make it into the final game.

Heroes Prefer Swords require either the main hero to be the only sword-wielder in an ensemble including other weapon wielders, or for them to receive a sword in a ceremonial fashion in recognition of their heroism. It's not "swords exist."

* HeroesPreferSwords: A sword is the second weapon seen in the pre-alpha footage, and it appears to be much stronger than an axe, even being more effective against armored knights, even though it should be the opposite.

* RooftopBattle: The pre-alpha footage culminates with the player hacking their way through the possessed knights on the floors of the tower to reach the top, where they confront a proper burning demon, as opposed to the zombie-like possessed they encountered earlier. They also lose that battle, with the demon able to use its magic to throw the player from the roof.

* BloodlessCarnage: Averted. The possessed's bodies bleed when struck and stay bloodied on the ground, while the player's weapon is also absolutely blood-spattered after combat.
* HeavilyArmoredMook: There are possessed knights, who are still fully armoured (even if they have black blood dripping from their helmet's eyeholes) and are capable of fighting with their weapons. In the pre-alpha footage, their armour really seems to make a difference - the possessed knight survived about a couple dozen axe blows before going down, while regular possessed go down in one or two.

The Black Masses is an upcoming game from Brilliant Game Studios, the developer behind VideoGame/UltimateEpicBattleSimulator. It is slated for the summer 2019 release on PC through UsefulNotes/Steam.

Described by the creators as first-person fantasy co-op open world RPG, it is set during the equivalent to medieval times, on an island 16 x 16 kilometers in size. It used to have hundreds of thousands of people living there at its peak, but practically all of them have now been reduced to mindless shamblers as a result of a mass instance of DemonicPossession.

Some videos of the current game are here and here.
