''Sakura Wars V: So Long, My Love'' is the fifth main installment of the ''VideoGame/SakuraWars'' series, the last to be developed by Creator/RedEntertainment and the only one on the UsefulNotes/PlayStation2 and the UsefulNotes/NintendoWii (as well as the first to be officially released outside Japan).

It was also the final game to feature Satoru Akahori as the scenario writer and Creator/KosukeFujishima and Hidenori Matsubara as the character designers.
