Restored this one, but with some slight alterations. It's not so "optional" when you're going for One Hundred Percent Completion. Either way, it doesn't change the fact this is how both versions handle getting them.

* FakeDifficulty: In the Wii version, expect to go through [[ThatOneBoss the Final Boss]] a dozen of times before beating it due to the fact that Rodea can't just fly anywhere he wants, has limited flight range, can't stop in mid flight, and (unlike in the Wii U version) [[CheckpointStarvation has to start the final boss fight over from the first phase]] if he loses a life...

* FakeLongevity: Applies to both versions. For those trying to get OneHundredPercentCompletion, expect to take a really long time getting all the medals, and (in the Wii U version) fully upgrading Rodea, as well as fully decorating the room Ion [[spoiler:and for a while, Sonia]] is in[[note]]Either Ion's bedroom or the bridge; it's not made clear.[[/note]], since 1)There's no radar in the Wii version, 2)In order to get the parts you need in the Wii U version, you have to clear the stages you get them in order to actually get them, and 3)Not all of the medals are immediately available to collect in the Wii U version. This also applies to getting all of the unlockables in the Wii U version.

And this paragraph doesn't explain why these challenges are Fake Difficulty and a waste of time. Shortening it to cover only the final boss.

* FakeDifficulty: In both versions, but ironically even more so in the supposedly superior original Wii version. Certain obstacles and challenges are seemingly only there either just to waste the players' time (when trying to get a higher rank), or just for the sake making the game more difficult (to the point where, it may take numerous tries in order to surpass/complete them). This comes to a head in the final boss battle due to the fact that Rodea can't just fly anywhere he wants, AND has limited flight ability and range, AND can't stop in mid flight, AND (unlike the Wii U version) has to start the final boss fight over from the first phase if he loses a life...
