* DelinquentHair: Sharla's bleached pompadour in most of the ''Rockett'' games. A website storyline gave her a makeover with short, spiky hair that she let down, which is a more muted example, but still counts -- particularly in contrast to her natural hair, seen in ''Secret Paths to the Sea''.

A VisualNovel series, though instead of still screens with dialogue boxes, the story was told in cinematics -- sort of; still screens were played with voices without the player moving pieces along. Choices were made by picking one of three {{Floating Advice Reminder}}s, and the player could access at any time a parallel universe where they could break into other characters' lockers and occasionally the teachers' lounge to look at their things and read their notes, getting a better idea of who the characters were and what the player should do. The games took place in grade eight, and the main character was Rockett Movado, the new girl in town.

* BlackBestFriend: Even if Nakili isn't Rockett's best friend, she absolutely reflects the character type, being laid-back, sassy, and constantly with the other [=CSGs=]. She does have her own character and her own interests, though, which defies this at the same time.

Being One Of The Boys doesn't necessarily make one a Ladette.

* TheLadette: Sharla Norvell is tough and sarcastic, has spiky BoyishShortHair, wears leather jackets, smokes (well, pretends to), and starts fights. In ''Rockett's Camp Adventures'', she joins Ruben and Cleveland in playing a prank on one of the girls' cabins, and during a bonfire laughs at Ruben's armpit fart while the other girls are grossed out by it.
