Bonus Boss is a disambiguation

Video Game Settings is an index, not a trope

* VideoGameRemake: The levels are in the same places as in the original VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaI, and are the same shapes, with the bosses in the same places and the same items, but they are laid out differently and some have additional items. Also see the below.
* VideoGameSettings: The original was pretty vanilla with the entire overworld covered in vanilla mountains and forests and the labyrinths all with the same texture, but the remake adds themes to most of them.
** Every labyrinth has a distinct theme, most carried over from 1st to 2nd quest:
*** Labyrinth of Noob: Level 1 in both quests ("The Eagle" and "Erosion", respectively).
*** Labyrinth of Swamp: Level 2 in 1st quest ("The Crescent") and level 7 in 2nd ("The Spiral").
*** Labyrinth of Forest: Level 3 in 1st quest ("The Manji"). Not carried over to 2nd quest.
*** Labyrinth of Water: Level 4 in 1st quest ("The Snake") and Level 5 in 2nd ("Zenith").
*** Labyrinth of Pyramid: Level 5 in 1st quest ("The Lizard") and level 4 in 2nd ("Dementia").
*** Labyrinth of Death: Level 6 in both quests ("The Dragon" and "The Cowl", respectively).
*** Labyrinth of Sky: Level 7 in 1st quest ("The Demon") and Level 3 in 2nd ("Languish").
*** Labyrinth of Cavern: Level 8 in 1st quest ("The Lion") and level 2 in 2nd ("Aberration").
*** With an added AbandonedMine flavor in 2nd.
*** Labyrinth of Volcano: Level 9 in 1st quest ("The Skull") and Level 8 in 2nd ("The Red Mile").
*** Labyrinth of Ice: Level 9 in 2nd quest ("Ganon").
** Much of the overworld gets distinct themes added too:
*** FirstTown: Kakariko Village.
*** PalmtreePanic: The beach area in the southwest. Also Fanon one in the Lost Woods.
*** BubblegloopSwamp: Misery Mire.
*** RuinsForRuinsSake: The Forest of Ruins.

Actually, you don't. A new chronicle unearthed by the great historian Creator/DarkFlameWolf reveals that what you played until now was only part of the story. Details about the scenery were compressed, the overworld and dungeon layouts were passed down wrong, Link getting certain dungeon items was left out, the difficulty Link had was greatly downplayed, and it turns out Link had to rescue fair Zelda a third time. That means you now get to play a new and improved remake of the original VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaI made in VideoGame/ZeldaClassic, with a more complex and detailed overworld, more complex, detailed and themed dungeons, additional dungeon items and puzzles, harder difficulty and an incredibly difficult remake of the first two quests in the form of a third quest.

This was actually the last Zelda Classic quest Dark Flame Wolf made, and she's announced her retirement from Zelda Classic, but she made ten quests in total, and this one may just top even her previous main quest, VideoGame/LostIsle, made in collaboration with Peteo, and serve as a fitting crowner to her long quest-making career. What better way to end your career than WhereItAllBegan? Of course, she didn't make this entirely herself; she had Blaman make one block puzzle to put in each dungeon, but everything else was all Dark Flame Wolf, down to the Master Dome, which in this quest takes the form of the Dome of Trials, a set of rematches against bosses in the style of the Savage Labyrinth from VideoGame/HiddenDuality that gets harder in each successive quest. It's not clear whether this or VideoGame/LostIsle was a greater quest, but it most definitely tops VideoGame/IsleOfTheWinds by a longshot, especially given how Dark Flame Wolf needed to integrate the two-quest mechanics, and it was more effort on Dark Flame Wolf's part than Lost Isle. So, this is a fitting way for Dark Flame Wolf to end her quest making career, wasn't it?

* VideoGameRemake: The levels are in the same places as in the original VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaI, and are the same shapes, with the bosses in the same places and the same items, but they are laid out differently and some have additional items. Also see the below.
* VideoGameSettings: The original was pretty vanilla with the entire overworld covered in vanilla mountains and forests and the labyrinths all with the same texture, but the remake adds themes to most of them.
** Every labyrinth has a distinct theme, most carried over from 1st to 2nd quest:
*** Labyrinth of Noob: Level 1 in both quests.
*** Labyrinth of Swamp: Level 2 in 1st quest and level 7 in 2nd.
*** Labyrinth of Forest: Level 3 in 1st quest. Not carried over to 2nd quest.
*** Labyrinth of Water: Level 4 in 1st quest and Level 5 in 2nd.
*** Labyrinth of Pyramid: Level 5 in 1st quest and level 4 in 2nd.
*** Labyrinth of Death: Level 6 in both quests.
*** Labyrinth of Sky: Level 7 in 1st quest and Level 3 in 2nd.
*** Labyrinth of Cavern: Level 8 in 1st quest and level 2 in 2nd.
**** With an added AbandonedMine flavor in 2nd.
*** Labyrinth of Volcano: Level 9 in 1st quest and Level 8 in 2nd.
*** Labyrinth of Ice: Level 9 in 2nd quest.

YMMV is an index, not a trope. It should not be linked to from any trope or work page for any reason. Also, putting in a heading saying \"Tropes will be added later\" looks REALLY lazy. Put the article in a sandbox if you have to, but don\'t launch a works page with no trope list, and ESPECIALLY don\'t say on the page that one will be added later.

This was actually the last Zelda Classic quest Dark Flame Wolf made, and she's announced her retirement from Zelda Classic, but she made ten quests in total, and this one YMMV may just top even her previous main quest, VideoGame/LostIsle, made in collaboration with Peteo, and serve as a fitting crowner to her long quest-making career.

This is the tale of brave hero Link's first quest to rescue fair Princess Zelda from the vile clutches of the wicked beast Ganon, not once but twice. You think you know how it went, don't you?
