** The entire [[spoiler:sword of St. George quest. The only hint towards it is Lisa Lisa saying in the developer's room that a "certain someone" drops the Red Stone of Aja, and that you get the sword from another individual, and that you have to stay at an inn to get it. While this sounds straightforward enough, the individual who gives you the sword is Utah, who survives either by you not fighting him at the Harbor, or if you're playing on Chaos mode and save him in Singapore, and then you can fight him in Edfu. Even after getting the Rusty Sword the quest still has that's not even hinted at, like the sword being capable of absorbing Stand powers, and they have to be done in a strict order, with the first character who can have his power absorbed being Kakyoin, so you can't start evolving the sword as soon as you get it, you have to find Dio's mansion first. To make it worse, Kakyoin needs to have his Stand power absorbed twice, while everyone else is just once. The order of characters is also not implied[[note]]It's Kakyoin, Polnareff, Avdol, Joseph, Kakyoin, Jotaro, Iggy[[/note]]. Once the sword breaks from absorbing too much power, that's when the Red Stone of Aja can be used... And all of this are also random and not exactly common events when staying at the inns, so it can take a while until you eventually get it... And the game also doesn't hint anywhere that there's another, weaker final evolution with the Godly Emerald Sword, which is even rarer to get]].
** When it comes to secret bosses [[spoiler:Ultimate Being Kars and True Clayman heal every turn (999 for Kars, 2000 for True Clayman), and the game never implies they're healing as the fight goes on, since the game doesn't have a visible health bar, nor does the text say anything]].

Added DiffLines:

* PowerUpLetDown: [[spoiler:The Sword of St. George. To get it you need to get the Red Stone of Aja, and to get that you need to defeat Ultimate Being Kars, who heals 999 HP ''per turn'', and has ridiculously powerful defense so even level 50 characters need to get a lot of stats up items to actually hit him hard enough to win... And it's not a guaranteed drop. Once you finally get the sword, it doesn't hit much harder than the best attacks you already have. Worse still, the sword inexplicably does short range attacks, so it'll hit a lot less hard against enemies at M range, and no damage against anyone at L range. The Sword of St. George itself is obtained from evolving the Rusty Sword into other swords, which can take a while, and St. George can fall short when compared with the Precious Emerald Sword, which while it doesn't hit as hard, it does hit at L range, making it more flexible, and is much easier to obtain.]]

* FakeDifficulty:
** Yellow Temperance can be this. In his default form his defenses are too high unless you use Jotaro's Star Punch, and the best strategy to beat him is to wait for him to switch form to anyone else and use status effects to keep him locked in that form so Jotaro and maybe the protagonist can use better skills if available.
** The Rolling Stones Maze. Getting some items from there like the Badge of Honor can be way too luck based even if you know the paths, because sometimes Rolling Stone will block off the only way to advance and you can't do anything about it.

* GameMod: The game eventually got ''7th Stand User R'', a colored mod that focuses on giving the game quality of life improvements, such as making the events when sleeping at inns no longer being tied to RNG, which's great for the St. George Sword quest, and overall getting new skills.

* HardModePerks: Mostly [[AvertedTrope averted]] since Hard mode both makes the protagonist start with lower stats (Which will happen every time Hard mode is picked so repeat playthroughs will make the protagonist's stands weaker), and every party member start with -10FP, not to mention a bunch of bosses get stronger attacks. But there are two advantages to actually beating Hard mode: The game will give you three Badges of Honor once you're at the Debug Room, and True Clayman actually loses one of her most dangerous attacks that kills the entire party.

* ObviousRulePatch: Beating Hard mode gives you three Badges of Honor... Unless you use the Debug Room at any point, if that happens you won't get them.

* SpellMyNameWithAnS: While the official spelling for Avdol is,w ell, "Avdol", the fan translation of the game uses the more general "Abdul."

** Getting a character's ending in Easy or Hard modes is this compared to Normal mode. Easy/Hard start with -10 Friendship Points for every character, so while in Normal mode you only need a total of 30FP to get a character's ending, allowing you to go to the Developer's Room and use NewGamePlus, in Easy/Hard you have to get 90FP, so you have to do most events that raise friendship points.

* ShoddyKnockoffProduct: You can find a knockoff of the game ''VideoGame/DragonQuestIII'' called ''Dragon Question III''. If you have the knockoff, you can either brag about to Kakyoin (which raises your FP with a little but raises your bad karma) or give it to him (which raises his FP even more slightly). Both end up resulting in Kakyoin identifying it as a knockoff of ''[=DQIII=]'', much to the protagonist's embarassment. Alternatively, you can go to the store which sells the game in Karachi, in which Kakyoin prevents you from buying the knockoff.
