Grimms Notes (グリムノーツ) was a mobile RPG developed by {{Creator/Genki}} (yeah, that developer of racing games) and published by Creator/SquareEnix, it was released on January 21, 2016 for Android and iOS platforms.

A spin-off titled Grimms Echoes was released on March 28, 2019.

* BeachEpisode: Got one in the form of a Symbol Collection event.
* BigBad: The 4 seasonal evil spirits.

* HighSchoolAU: Take a guess.
* OffModel: The Harpies here are supposed to have same height as a normal person. To reflect this, their battle sprite is smaller. This results in them looking like fairies with incredibly small bodies.
* SchoolOfNoStudying: Pure battles, most of the time.

* AngryFistShake: Exaggerated. When Tao tells Momotaro about his past and his boss' sacrifice, he clenches his fist so hard that it ''bleeds''. And nobody notices it, not even Tao himself.

* DidYouActuallyBelieve: A few Chaos Tellers brag about not being defeated so easly, often beginning with this phrase. Which is funny because every character who says this gets immediately [[OneHitKill One-Hit Killed]].

** The one-vs-one fights between Ex's party and Momotaro with three Mega Villains (which concluded with a DuelBoss fight between Tao and Momotaro). In fact, Mega Villains are completely absent.
** The original Summer form of Red Riding Hood was replaced by another one that wields a machete. The latter also became a "CanonImmigrant" by appearing in the game (named "Anime ver.") and having her own Symbol event released at the same time as episode 6.

* AngryFistShake: Exxagerated. When Tao tells Momotaro about his past and his boss' sacrifice, he clenches his fist so hard that it ''bleeds''. And nobody notices it, not even Tao himself.

* ForcedTutorial: Regardless of whether you carried over all your data from the previous game or not, you'll still have to complete the prologue tutorial.
* GuestFighter: More external characters made their way into the game.

* BigBad: Prometheus and Hecate. [[spoiler:Deus Prometheus takes this role later, with Baron Munchausen and Mirror Maiden serving him.]]

** Chaos Aladdin was the BigBad of a Symbol Collection event that took place after the party visited The Wizard of Oz Story Zone. In the final episode, he's summoned by Loki, in Looking-Glass Story Zone to fight the party alongside Jabberwock.

** Most of the [[EliteMook Elite Mooks]] are never encountered by the party, with the exception of a single Werewolf, Red Onis, and Trump Soldiers. And none of them even get proper fight scenes; The Werewolf is fought off-screen and runs away, the Onis are minding their own business until Momotaro theatens them and they run away, and the Trump Soldiers are quickly one-shooted without so much as landing a hit.

* DidYouActuallyBelieve: A few Chaos Tellers brag about not being defeated so easly, often beginning with this phrase. Which is funny because every character who says this gets immediately one-shoted to death.

* BeastMan: We have La Bete the Beast, Puss in Boots, Ephemero, King Lackland, Frog Prince (Repage), Chaos Rugal, and Chaos King Midas.

The game takes place in a world created by a beings known as "Story Tellers." At birth, all inhabitants of this world are bestowed with a "book of fate" where all their lives are written in advance. However, rogue Story Tellers known as Chaos Tellers are writing bad events into people's books without them knowing. It is up to the holders of blank books of fate to seek out the Chaos Tellers and restore the world.
