Added DiffLines:

* ImprovisedWeapon: Infamously, each counselor's starting weapon are rocks that were lying on the path. Since they arc over almost everything, ducking when throwing them is must.

Added DiffLines:

* KnifeNut: Your first weapon upgrade is a knife. Just the fact it flies straight makes it a huge improvement over the rocks.

* AfterBossRecovery: Each time you defeat Jason, your surviving counselors are all brought back up to full health.

* BlackoutBasement: The cave. In a subversion, it's still easily navigable if you don't have the flashlight.Just look for chips in the background rocks lining the path. That is where doors are located.

* BonusBoss: Pamela Voorhees' floating head is an optional boss in the caves. She can kill you instantly, but you'll get her sweater if you succeed.

* BonusBoss: Pamela Voorhees' floating head is an optional boss in the caves. She can kill you instantly, but you'll get she'll give up an item each time you defeat her: first a superior weapon, then her sweater if you succeed.sweater, and finally the pitchfork.

* CutAndPasteEnvironments: Each cabin is mapped out exactly the same between small and large varieties; only any items located inside are different.

* EyesAlwaysShut: Chrissy in her CharacterPortrait.

to:

* EventFlag: Finding notes in cabins would start a chain of finding other notes or possibly weapons if you go to the areas (vaguely) described.
* EyesAlwaysShut: Chrissy Crissy in her CharacterPortrait.

* InfiniteFlashlight: The reward for lighting all the fireplaces. You only ever get the one, so if Jason kills the counselor holding it, kiss it good-bye for good.

* LastChanceHitPoint: Any vitamins you're carrying become this if an enemy depletes all your health; they kick in automatically, letting you go a little further.

* TheMaze: The forest and the cave.

to:

* TheMaze: The forest forests and the cave.

Added DiffLines:

* ZipMode: Is Jason attacking someone all the way across the map from you? Sprint into the nearest small cabin and hit Start so you can take command of a counselor closer to the threat. You can even have the victim him/herself fend off Jason this way.

* LostForever: Pamela's sweater and the pitchfork can be obtained only once and if the character carrying them dies, they're gone for good. The torch is a subversion, since there's a trick / glitch to unlock infinite access to one.

As of 2016, another Friday the 13th game is finally in development, this taking the form of an asynchronous multiplayer game, with multiple people playing as camp counselors trying to survive against a single player as Jason.

* SurvivalHorror: A rare 8-bit example. It's easy to get lost, you have a pile of pitiful Scrappy Weapons to work with, and you have to track down and defeat TheJuggernaut before he kills everyone. Thrice.
