* TwentyFourHourArmor: Played straight withCaptain Atom and Hulker, as they wear their armour at all time, averted with Ingstrøm, as he removes his hazmat suit at least once in the game, but this happens behind a viewscreen.
* AfterTheEnd: The stroy is set after a nuclear war which devastated earth and is sort of a parody of Fallout with elements of Mad Max.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Episode 2 is this for Doctor Ingstrøm, it starts out with showing how he survived the nuclear blast and this episodes story revolves mainly about him and his place in the team.

* DueToTheDead: The League gives [[spoiler: Ingstrøm]] a suprisingly sombre funreal at the beginning of the third episode.

* TheFaceless: As Ingstrøm is a germophobe, his he wears his Hazmat suit and Gasmask at all times while on screen, so that his whole body is completely shut off from the environment.
* HiddenDepths: Ingstrøm is, while beeing somewhat of a jerk and a germophobe, a masterful pianist who can fill his teammembers with a deep feeling of joy and persuades them that he is still important to the team immeadetly when they hear him play for the first time.

* IdiotHero: Captain Atom really isn't the brightest bulb and his plans are usually very simple, what gives him the power to suceed are his determination and sheer neverending optimism. On the other hand he can have his moments.
* MoodWhiplash: Ligther examples of this trope crop up here and there, but the by far most extreme example happens while [[spoiler: Ingstrøm plays on the Piano, which is the most heartwarming scene in the game so far, but then Ingstrøm gets killed by a headshoot.]]
* ReassignedToAntarctica: Hulker was reassigned to a remote bunker near Brussels because of how harsh his training methods where.
* SlidingScaleOfIdealismVersusCynicism: More on the cynical side of things. While the Heroes can make some progress, safe a few people and even managed do defeat [[spoiler: The king of Belgium]] without any violence and seemingly learn a valueable lesson here, the entire world is in ruins, people became either monsters or simply horrible human beeings, but then again only 2 of 6 episodes of the game have been released so far, so things could change.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: While Ingstrøm and Hulker work reasonably well with Captain Atom, they uttlery despise each other and constantly argue with each other. While Hulker is a paranoid, TriggerHappy, Ingstrøm prefers to talk things out prefers peace in general.
* TroubledBackstoryFlashback: In episode 2 there is a scene in which in the cinema, if you watch a movie, Captain Atom has a flashback to him and his Girlfriend/Wife have a conversation and are obviously in a happy relationship, but then the bombs start dropping...
* WhamShot: [[spoiler: Almost literally. Ingstrøms death via Headshot is this.]]
* WhatMeasureIsANonSuper: The main story point of Episode 2. A lot of this episode turns around the question if Ingstrøm, the only one without super powers, is still of any use to the team as he is, even though he is the teams healer, much weaker then the others. In the end [[spoiler: his beautiful piano play persuades them that he is still important to them, if only because he has the ability to move their souls.]]
