* TowerDefense: Inverted; it's tower ''offense''. In this game, ''you control the attackers, and the towers are your enemy''. Not the UrExample ({{VideoGame/Stronghold}} already had elements of this at the time), but definitely the one that [[GenreLaunch started the trend]].

''Anomaly: Warzone Earth'' is a "[[InvertedTrope Reverse]]-TowerDefence" game developed by 11bit Studios, which puts the player in charge of a military unit - the aforementioned 14th Platoon - in the wake of what, at first, is thought to be the impact of a disintegrating comet upon various parts of Earth.

* ReformulatedGame: The mobile version has several differencies with the computer one. Baghdad is the only scenario and the plot is even simpler. Some missions are similar to the original ones but others are very different, with situations originally seen in Tokyo like the EscortMission with the transport craft and the introduction of the Dragon unit (which is fully functional from the get-go). There is no commander, abilities are deployed and collected by tapping on the screen; Hacker and Harevester turrets are present but work a bit differently to accomodate the change.

* WithThisHerring: You must stop an alien invasion... with no more than six vehicles and some air support.

* MadeOfIron: you commander can take hit after hit from the machines and the most suprising part? He can't die,though you will be out of action for a while if you take too much damage.
