OK, maybe not ''all,'' but still, I find shipping to be irritating and generally poorly justified.
Anywho, other things to note is that I'm a fan of quite a few anime/manga such as Black Cat, Code Geass, Haruhi Suzumiya, D.Gray-Man and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Just don't treat j-pop as a music genre around me. Its an umbrella term, not a genre, much like Christian music.
I am Agnostic, I don't know or care if God exists and think too many people focus too much on worrying about such a trivial issue. Also, don't try to shove your beliefs down my throat, I don't appreciate people doing that.
As an aspiring journalist, I find bad grammar to be especially irritating.
I love video games and own an XBox 360, Wii, PSP, DSi and PS3. My history of console ownership is as follows: NES, Genesis (I refuse to refer to the second Sega system as the Megadrive, even if legal issue were the only reason the North American version was called the Genesis), SNES, PS1, PS2 (7 of them, thanks to a very angry older brother), XBox and Gamecube. After getting the PS1 and discovering the internet, I became the archetypal Sony fanboy. Half-truths, made up information and faked ignorance were what made up my arguments against other systems. After making friends with a trio of brothers who had a PS2, XBox and Gamecube, I started playing the other consoles and soon realized how stupid I was. In 2004, I got both a Gamecube and XBox.
I am also a huge music geek, especially when it comes to heavy metal and progressive rock. Some of my favorite bands include {{Kamelot}}, {{Megadeth}} (though I'm not part of the related Metallica hatedom), {{Blind Guardian}}, Music/{{Tarot}}, {{Rush}} and [[ThreeInchesOfBlood 3 Inches of Blood]]. I will listen to just about anything, though I do despise the squeaking voices of most Japanese bubble pop, the copy/paste song "writing" of most modern pop-punk bands and DragonForce (one of the few hatedoms I will admit to being a part of. Though my reasoning ISN'T {{its popular now it sucks}}.)
I am also left handed and I play bass guitar. I don't, however, play bass left handed, though I do intend to try out a lefty bass some time.
