I am the King of Dastards, my name's Coltin in real life, and misspelling it as Colton or Colten is my biggest Berserk Button.
I am primarily a fan of video games, comics, and literature, and occasionally of anime and western animation, although I often miss a few anime episode and completely lose track of the five-hundred plus episode series that are all over the place.
I am 17 years old, soon to be 18, and I'm hoping to become a writer or to research history. I also have interest in animals, but I'm no good at the whole "fine print" of biology, like all the chemical and organical interactions and all, so I probably won't get into it. I also have a passing interest in the mysterious and unexplained: ghosts, cryptids, UF Os, etc. I also used to RP a lot, but not much anymore, because of a lack of any real interest and all the new R Ps I've stumbled upon being too rule-driven and stuffy.
I write a decent amount of fanfiction, most of which is on fanfiction.net or Nsider2 forums, which is my primary forum hang-out. I mostly write Metroid, Pokemon, and Zelda fan-fics. I started writing fic when I was around 12 and have written over twenty of them, although some of them were never completed. Other fandoms I've written for include Sonic, Castlevania, and Transformers, but a lot of those are either Old Shame or just plain mediocre. Only 4 remain on FF.net, as I culled the rest from existence; a Metroid one, a Pokemon one, which is actually pretty successful, with over 60 reviews, a Zelda one based MM's world of Termina with Kafei as the main character, and a Metroid Christmas Comedy one-shot. For some reason, I can't bring myself to write literature fan-fic, mostly because I love to tinker around with the settings of the fan-fics, and video games offer a lot of flexibility. I'm known as the King of Dastards there, too.
That's about it, besides the fact I fit my name well.
