Putting this here so I remember it later. "Fold a sheet of paper in half to create two columns. In the first, write down the alphabet in both upper and lowercase. Then look at each letter and ask yourself how you can best streamline it to make it easier to write without messing up. Remove a few extraneous lines, round off the shapes—put everything in small caps if need be. When you've finished that, whip out some papers with your old handwriting on them (usually notes) and practice rewriting them on a separate sheet.
