** Ralph himself made his "game jump" into ''[[VideoGame/SegaSuperstars Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed]]''. So yes, game jumping is being defictionalized, too. The presence of the ''Wreck-It Ralph'' characters in ''VideoGame/DisneyHeroesBattleMode'', ''VideoGame/DisneyMagicKingdoms'', and ''VideoGame/DisneyDreamlightValley'' are contextualized as game-jumping as well.

* IKnewIt:
** Before it was confirmed a lot of fans correctly guessed from the first trailer that [[spoiler:Felix and Calhoun were going to be paired up]].
** Many fans also guessed that [[spoiler:King Candy would be the main antagonist of the film]], which was confirmed by [[spoiler:a pulled-down preview for one of the tie-in novels on Amazon]].
** One fan guessed impressively early on the WMG page that [[spoiler:Vanellope was the true ruler of ''Sugar Rush'']].

* GodNeverSaidThat: Many people on the Internet insist that Mario didn't get a cameo because Nintendo's price was too high. In a [[http://www.firstshowing.net/2012/video-interview-wreck-it-ralph-director-rich-moore-on-mario-more/ video interview]] (around 15:30) with [=FirstShowing.net=], director Rich Moore clearly states ''this is false.'' He thinks the rumor grew out of a joke John C. Reilly made at the [[FanConvention San Diego Comic-Con]], saying "Luigi wants more money than Mario," which the rumor mill morphed into an "official" statement by Moore himself. ** One of the pieces of graffiti that can be seen in Game Central Station says "Extreme EZ Livin'", which was the name of a game featured in an earlier version of the movie.

** Disney designed, programmed, and constructed a working arcade machine of ''Fix-It Felix Jr.'' for the 2011 D23 Expo (and yes, it ''does'' look like it was made in 1982)! You can even play the game at Disneyland's Starcade in Tomorrowland, no quarters needed![[note]]It was also available at [=DisneyQuest=] at Walt Disney World in Florida, but that required separate paid admission.[[/note]] With this film being about original video games, expect more of these to come!

* ReleaseDateChange: Originally Scheduled for March 22, 2013, the production proved so smooth that Disney decided to shift the release to November 2, 2012 because it was done ahead of schedule, with Creator/DreamWorks's ''WesternAnimation/TheCroods'' occupying ''Wreck-It Ralph'''s previous release date.

* DevelopmentGag: Vanellope was originally designed with a grayish-green skin tone to make her look more "glitchy", but was instead given a human skin tone. In the film proper, an image of her face with green skin appears on the "No Glitches" sign on the kart bakery's door.
** One of the pieces of graffiti that can be seen in Game Central Station says "Extreme EZ Livin'" which was the name of a game featured in an earlier version of the movie.

* NamesTheSame:
** King Candy's "Fungeon" is a pun on "Fun" and "Dungeon". There is a place in a medieval-themed Las Vegas resort that's called [[http://www.excalibur.com/entertainment/fundungeon.aspx the Fun Dungeon]] (Made long before the movie). Thankfully it's nothing like Sugar Rush's Fungeon.
** King Candy himself happens to share his name with a character from [[TabletopGame/CandyLand a children's board game that is also candy themed.]]
** Wreck-It Ralph's "glitches" are very different to ''VideoGame/{{Starbound}}'s'' Glitch, who are a race of robots meant to simulate an organic civilisation, that got stuck in MedievalStasis due to a fault in their programming.

** Creator/JohnCReilly, Creator/SarahSilverman, Jack [=McBrayer=] and Jane Lynch are among the featured voices, though Jack and Jane have done a good amount of voice work before.
