* RoleReprise: Creator/TobeyMaguire and Creator/WillemDafoe reprise their roles from the movie.

** Originally, Treyarch wasn't working on a movie tie-in game, but instead an UpdatedRerelease of the first Neversoft ''Spider-Man'' game for the UsefulNotes/PlayStation2. The decision to shift projects came about when Activision struck a deal with Sony and Columbia to produce video games based on the ''Film/SpiderManTrilogy'' early on in development.

* CastTheRunnerUp: Creator/JoshKeaton was originally going to voice Spidey and did many of his lines, but Creator/TobeyMaguire became available at the last minute.
