** A rather unfortunate case that caused a major hit to his reputation. Back in February 2015, someone hacked into his social media accounts and posted a nude photo of NXT Diva Zahra Schreiber that he had, more-or-less confirming he was having an affair with her behind his then-fiancée Leighla Schultz's back. Schultz was upset enough about it that she posted a nude photo of him onto her own Twitter account. If that weren't enough, reports came in the Schreiber herself was still engaged. Reportedly, neither of the two were punished for this (it was rumored Vince was intending to at least fine Seth, only for Triple H to protect him), and the only order to the roster was that no one talk about it since it was a personal matter. Schreiber caught ''major'' heat from the locker room for this, as a lot of them had liked Schultz; ironically, it was something that had nothing to with the affair and had happened long before she had probably even met Rollins that got her fired six months later. He did still appear to be with Schreiber afterwards until reports in February 2016 indicated they'd broken up, and both have since found themselves in other barely-publicized relationships.

* RoleEndingMisdemeanor: Not for him; his girlfriend Zahra Schreiber got released for "inappropriate and offensive remarks" (she posted pro-Nazi artwork involving swastikas on her twitter account). They were already on thin ice due to the nude photo scandal earlier that year, but since this had nothing to do with Seth (the posts were from 2012, long before he had probably even met Zahra), she got the shaft. Not even being the girlfriend of the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion can save your job in the PR-heavy WWE if you screw up enough times.

Not even being the girlfriend of the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion can save your job in the PR-heavy WWE if you screw up enough times. It was believed for a while that the incident would bring Rollins's push to a screeching halt too, but him cashing in his Money in the Bank contract at ''[=WrestleMania=] 31'' proved this not to be the case.
** Averted when it was also thought by some more paranoid fans of his that the death knell to his push would come soon after he accidentally broke Cena's nose with a rising knee, forcing WWE's top star to miss a couple of weeks for surgery. Again, he managed to avoid any apparent backstage heat for the accident (and WWE even took the opportunity to [[http://euroshop.wwe.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-main/default/dwb299acb7/images/large/W10205.jpg make some merch out of it!]]) - although, in a cruel twist of fate, he would later tear several ligaments in that same knee and be forced to vacate the title.

* PottyEmergency: Didn't ''quite'' reach NeverLiveItDown territory, but Rollins' story that he once took a pee break by rolling under the ring in the middle of a match became well-known. (This was into an empty water bottle, which makes it... marginally better.)

* NeverLiveItDown:
** While cheating on his fiancée was probably going to land him here already, especially with the addition of naked photos of both him and his new flame being posted on the day he was caught out, it's now compounded by her being fired for posting insensitive photos. ''Correction'': his new ''bisexual'' flame who had an altar of Nazi memorabilia and hand-drew a picture of [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Pony Hitler]]. (Like she wouldn't be first in line to be shot by the Nazis for being degenerate.)
** Also, there's his reputation of allegedly being unsafe in the ring with Sting, Cena, and most recently Finn Balor all being injured quite badly during matches against Seth Rollins (with Sting's career ending after his match against Seth). Bret Hart himself has repeatedly harped on Seth for being unsafe in the ring and it got to the point where when a student at Seth Rollins' wrestling school died, people started joking around about how "[[TheJinx even Seth's school is unsafe!]]"
** The thing that probably did more to permanently mar Seth's image than any other for a lot of people was his ill-advised social media presence in 2019. It was bad enough when he got into a slanging match with Wrestling/WillOspreay on Twitter where he boasted that he was better than Will based on ''how much money WWE was paying him,'' which was seen as tacky as classless, but the last straw came in July of 2019 when he took shots at Wrestling/JonMoxley (his former "brother" Dean Ambrose) about leaving WWE to join Wrestling/{{AEW}}, accusing Moxley of "trying to take dinner off [his] table". This was seen as backstabbing off the highest order (considering that Jon had in the past referred to Seth as his "wrestling soulmate" and had never had a bad word to say about him) and caused many people to write Rollins off as a corporate ass-kisser only concerned with money who'd throw even his best friends under the bus [[ProfessionalButtKisser to suck up to Vince]].
** 2019 ''Hell in a Cell'''s main event went down being seen as one of the worst main events ''ever'' with Seth getting the brunt of the backlash after the idiotically-booked finish that sent his already-faltering main event run cross into full-blown XPacHeat that saw a quick rematch at ''Crown Jewel'' crowning The Fiend as Universal Champion and a FaceHeelTurn as a desperate pair of AuthorsSavingThrow to try to contain the damage.

* DearNegativeReader: Even before the ''Wrestling/HellInACell'' debacle, fans were already leery of Rollins due to his off-screen sycophancy, repeatedly challenging Wrestling/CMPunk to an actual fight (to Punk's vocal bemusenent), trashing other wrestling promotions, getting into a pissing match with Wrestling/WillOspreay over their respective salaries, and accusing his supposed "brother" Wrestling/JonMoxley of "trying to take dinner off [his] table" by joining Wrestling/AllEliteWrestling (each of these exchanges were entirely unprovoked by the other parties), among other {{Website/Twitter}} snafus, ''i.e.'' leaked photos of him cheating on his then-fiancée with a (get this) bisexual neo-Nazi [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic MLP]] addict. (Like she wouldn't be first in line to be shot by the Nazis for being degenerate.) All of this causes Seth to double-down on his confrontational Tweets, so it's a weird dynamic.

* TroubledProduction: He has developed a reputation for allegedly being unsafe in the ring: Sting, Cena, and most recently Finn Balor were all badly-injured in matches with Seth Rollins, with Sting's announcing his retirement afterward. Bret Hart himself has repeatedly harped on Seth about this. It got to the point where when a student at Seth Rollins' wrestling school was fatally injured, leading the dark corners of the web to joke about about how even Seth's school is unsafe.

* OneOfUs: [[UpToEleven Yes]]. The man may be a bigger nerd than some of the people on this very wiki.
** His [=WrestleMania=] 33 storyline had him vowing to topple Wrestling/TripleH, the "King of Kings". One of his t-shirts had a huge lion sigil. His ring gear was gold, looked like scaled chainmail, and upon winning, he immediately dubbed himself the "Kingslayer". Think he might be a bit of a Series/GameOfThrones fan?
*** He also adopted a new finisher called "King's Landing" around this time.
*** Then at [=WrestleMania=] 34, he won the Intercontinental Championship while dressed as a White Walker.
** He's also the locker room's reigning Madden champion since Wrestling/XavierWoods made it a yearly tournament since 2014. Sadly, he was dethroned in 2017 by Jason Jordan.
** His finishers tend to have really nerdy names - his FCW finishers were a superkick called [[Literature/HarryPotter Avada Kedavra]] and a standing shiranui called the [[Film/StarWars Skywalker]].
