They also created a teaser trailer for it and showed it at various conventions, it was even seen by longtime Sonic comic writer Ian Flynn. However, due to unknown reasons, the project fell through. [=Sea3on=] Animated was revived in 2019, but with an entirely new staff. Other than the teaser trailer being released as a proof of concept, the original version seems to be mostly forgotten.
