* WordOfGod: According to creator Damian Szifrón, each of the team members had a detailed explanation or "backstory" as to how they acquired the respective skills that they use during the show. Most of these made it into the show one way or the other near the end, some less implicit than others (Ravenna used to be a professional actor, while we don't get explicit confirmation, he is clearly seen renting a book on acting. Meanwhile, Medina is casually called an ex journalist in the finale by Molero, confirming the origins of his investigative role in the team), the only piece of the puzzle that didn't make the cut was the fact that Lamponne, aside from being a Falklands war veteran, was also an ambulance driver for a while, which explains how he knows the city like the back of his hand.

Moving to YMMV

* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: The series for the most part avoids dating itself, technological advancements aside... up until the finale, when the team's plan to finally get rid of Milazzo (the guy who was seeking revenge on the team for stranding him in the jungle for a year under the pretense that he was in a ''Series/{{Survivor}}''-like reality show) is to con him again into making him believe that he is sent to capture Osama bin Laden, which clearly dates the series as being made before bin Laden was found and killed in May 2011.

* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: Apparently, they started omitting Season 1 Episode 10 (The Unpresentables) whenever the show has a TV re run, because of [[WhatTheHellHero an infamous plot point.]]

* NoBudget: It is clear in the first season that the show had a clearly low budget (one part of an episode was actually paid by one of the actors), which actually ends up being part of the charm, given that the show holds itself on intelligent and deep plots, good dialogue, the acting force of the main four actors and their interactions, funny situations, witty humour and a very good use of music.
* NoExportForYou: Not only it was never translated to English, but it was barely exported to other Spanish-speaking countries (no one knows why). Instead, remakes were made.
